I've been on such a Daisy kick lately, and this new Sodor's Finest was a blast to work on. Everyone played their parts so well. The story segments will be uploaded as their own video later this week, as well as the Music Of.
And as always, feel free to recreate it in Trainz, Roblox, with your own models, etc!
FINALLY!!!! I've waited so long to find The Metal Collection in stores, and found most of the line today! For $5 diecasts, these are wonderful. They have so much more detail and seperately fitted parts than previous releases. And the new side rods are a really nice touch!
Thomas is my favorite for sure, he is pretty much perfect in every way. James is pretty good too, he's a good representation of the CGI James, overscale and all. Not a fan of his gold side rods though. Henry is my least favorite, he's very squashed compared to the others and rather short. I only found 1 Percy, so he's staying sealed for now - but from what I can see, he looks good!
Very happy with these! I hope we get more character reveals soon - would kill for an Edward in this line!

The Talyllyn Railway revealed new faces for "Skarloey" and "Rheneas", completing the 7 main engines!
Richard Awdry (son of Christopher Awdry) has apparently taken over from his father as the lore keeper for the Railway Series, and has revealed some new developments on Sodor in the 2020s at Awdry Extravaganza 5: -Richard Hatt is now Controller, succeeding Stephen. -Coal was discovered near Tidmouth, giving Sodor a coal resource. Sodor notably never had its own coal mine in the books' canon and imported it all in - and now it does! -The North Western DID buy an Austerity saddle tank, and it helped construct the long-proposed Harwick extension to meet a new nuclear power plant in Ballaswein. A lot to take in there!
Thomas' 80th just gets crazier and crazier. What are all your thoughts on these reveals?
