BREAKING NEWS FROM CALHATOPIA:

A little second update as for the monthly Calhatopia news post that I posted just yesterday, since this JUST happened;

Shiona have stated their intentions of choosing Yomin Karan, a widely known far-right and authoritarian (potentially close to formalist) political figure. The previous cabinet lead by the Party of Shiona (aka the Ishiona Sindeya, often shortened to the IS) is stating they need a leader who is strong enough to guide them through a catastrophic situation like this.

After this became widespread news around Shiona, the SPLM have officially declared war against Shiona, seeing as they believe Yomin Karan's inauguration would pose the worst possible situation for the Subagode region. They claim that "Yomin Karan's inauguration would refuse Subagode's rights to an extent where violations of basic human rights would occur, and the Suban people would be oppressed at a much larger extent, compared to the status quo."

This is officially a civil war now. Please let us pray for anyone involved in this 🙏

MONTHLY CALHATOPIA NEWS: (June 1761)

Unfortunately, probably the worst thing has happened.

After the now former president of Shiona, Ibarin Hariolu, was assassinated during Iyashenabi festivities, the country has descended into pure chaos and anarchy.

All of this was especially amplified because the SPLM received full blame for the assassination, despite an explicit lack of definitive proof tied to a member of the movement committing the assassination.

The capital building was stormed by pro-SPLM supporters and all over the north of the country there are violent demonstrations, where Shionan police is trying to subdue them by beating the protesters with batons and sticks, and some police officers are even killing protesters using guns.

Not to mention that, in the south of the country, the SPLM has gained control over all of Zusyagode, Teburu, as well as most of Hadoken and Desapan, even extending into Usyanbya a bit. They are defending their controlled territories by force and the SPLM is known to have plans of claiming full independence, with its territory including all of Zusyagode, Teburu, Hadoken, Desapan, Usyanbya and Odyushi.

One could say that Shiona has devolved into a state of war, and I personally deem it to be such. I will refer to this as the Shionan Civil War (or alternatively the Shiona-Suba War) from now on.

Let's pray for Shionans and Suban people 🙏

Hey everyone,

Regrettably, I have some unfortunate news to share with you all.

To put it bluntly and simply, I'm completely burnt out from making content. Hell, I'm edging a burn-out irl, too.

It's literally affecting me physically, I can't seem to get enough good sleep, I'm getting headaches and stomachaches so much more frequently, it's badly affecting my appetite, and my energy levels are so low most of the time that I struggle to even do stuff as simple as holding up my arms or sitting/standing upright (like, I have to physically lean against something constantly or else I feel like I might fall over)

With everything going on in my life (I don't talk about it a lot, but there's so much happening) I genuinely feel so drained every day now that I need to let some things go. Unfortunately, making content for you lot is nigh on impossible for me to do rn, I can't even begin to think about making any type of content (even the easiest parts of making videos are really difficult/impossible for me to do)

So, yeah, long story short, I'm taking an indefinite break. I can't say whether or not I'll ever be back making content (in whatever form that may be) but I, simply put, can't do it anymore. I'm literally burnt out in just about all aspects. (It literally even took me over an hour and a headache to even write this)

I'm really sorry about having to disappoint you like this, you deserve better 🙏

MONTHLY CALHATOPIA NEWS: (May 1761)

Earlier this month, something crazy has happened.

Let me paint the scene for you: It's May 13th, and the rain festival (which I will from now on refer to by the local name; Iyashenabi) festivities is on its last legs. Millions of people from all around Shiona are gathered around this yearly festival, this time, held in Yasal. The current sitting president of Shiona, Ibarin Hariolu, is also present, of course.

However, at around 11:15am, massive crowds hear a gunshot. They look over and suddenly, the president is DEAD, from a sniper shell to the side of the head. Obviously, mass panic emerges as the president of their beloved country was just killed right in front of the people's faces. This causes a massive and almost dystopian uproar in which people are running around, screaming and kicking, and trampling (as well as being trampled by) others. In total, this commotion claimed a further 22 lives.

To this day, nation-wide investigations are still taking place. However, the central Shionan government has still not been able to find a perpetrator, or an organization backing said perpetrator. Though, common word among Shionans is that it is the SPLM's fault. The SPLM stands for the Suba People's Liberation Movement, and is a big organization of those that are being oppressed in the south of this very country.

It's highly likely that we'll be getting an update on this sometime soon, which will be the next Monthly Calhatopia News if it does happen. Stay tuned for the future of Shiona! 🙏

Gonna cancel the upcoming NCS Arcade Ranking video, methinks.

Working on its editing seems like nothing short of a near-impossible task for me. As well as this, I feel like I have less and less time to work on making videos to begin with, looking at all the stuff that's got me occupied and what's going on in my life nowadays.

I really need to work on smaller projects, as opposed to tasking myself with these big ass projects. Either this, or I need to upload these big projects in parts.

I'm really sorry for not getting more content to you quicker. Editing videos is becoming more of a tall order for me the longer time goes on.

I have an idea in mind for what I want to work on next; stay tuned! (This is alongside a long-term project I'm beginning to work on. Stay tuned for that because it's gonna be *pretty* big)

MONTHLY CALHATOPIA NEWS:
(April 1761)

Originally I was going to talk about something else, because nothing *too* interesting seemed to happen this month. But, then, suddenly, Maikok-Slon's coalition decided to just break apart completely, after having been formed just 6 months ago.

Specifically, the Maikok-Slon First Party (MSFP) fell apart completely. The true reasons are unbeknownst to us as of right now. (Also because this happened just yesterday as of the release of this post.) But, some people suspect that Daeki has something to do with it. Rumour has it that the MSFP had major disagreements in regards to "prioritizing the wants and needs of Sluni people, at the cost of Maikukz people".

I'm afraid I can't say *too* much more on the subject. However, any further questions regarding what occurred are welcome in the comments of this post, and I'll try and answer them to the best of my abilities.
