📢 Important Update for All Taxpayers!
The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has extended the due date for filing Income Tax Returns (ITRs) for Assessment Year 2025-26.
🗓️ Old Due Date: 31st July 2025
🆕 New Due Date: 15th September 2025
Why the extension?
Significant structural and content changes in ITR forms
Additional time needed for system updates and utility testing
TDS credits expected to reflect only from early June
✅ This extension provides a smoother and more accurate filing experience for all taxpayers.
🔔 A formal notification will be issued by CBDT soon.
