🎥 Important Channel Update 🎥

After 6 years of uploading a video nearly every single week, for the time being we’ve made the decision to move to fortnightly uploads on YouTube.

We know the weekly uploads have become part of many people’s routine, this wasn’t a decision we made lightly and one we've been considering for a while now. But between the workload in the workshop, customer jobs, filming, editing, and life outside of YouTube, the weekly schedule is no longer sustainable long term. Honestly not sure how we've kept up with it for as long as we have 😅

We are actually the busiest we have ever been with work, which is a great problem to have, but we also want to make sure we don’t end up completely burnt out and eventually stop making videos altogether.

We love making these videos and want to keep doing them for many years to come. Moving to fortnightly uploads (every 2 weeks) will help us keep the quality high while also giving us a healthier balance for our business and personal lives.

We know a lot of you really look forward to the weekly uploads and we genuinely appreciate all the support you’ve given us over the years. There are so many of you that have been watching for a long time now and we don’t take that for granted.

We’re incredibly proud of what this community has become over the past 6 years and we’re looking forward to continuing the journey with you all for many more to come.

We just hit 1,000,000 subscribers 🤯

Honestly… what the hell 😅 Or as Kurtis would say, F*ck me 😂

From the first video in the workshop to this… we truly never expected it. When we first hit record in 2020 (on Karen’s Samsung S9 😅), it was just about sharing a bit of what we do. No big plan. No expectations.

Somewhere along the way, it turned into this.

Some weeks are easy, most aren’t. But you guys kept showing up. Watching, commenting, supporting and sticking with us week after week. That part still blows us away, and we don’t take it lightly. Thank you for being part of this. We’re seriously grateful and appreciate it more than we can say.

Homey says it was about time. He's been the real star of the show from day one.

FRANNA PROJECT UPDATE

We’ve had a lot of comments and questions about the Franna lately, so we thought it was time to sit down and give you a proper update on where things began, how far we’ve come, and where it’s heading next.

What began as a tidy up quickly revealed itself to be something much bigger. Hidden rust, wear and previous “repairs” meant it was never going to be a quick refresh. Rather than patching it together, we made the decision early on to do it properly and treat it as a genuine build project.

Last week we received some news we want to share about Homey 🐾

He has been dealing with swelling in his left hip and went to the vet for scans. The results showed a tumour that has spread into his pelvis. It has not reached his organs which is a small comfort, but they have confirmed it cannot be removed and surgery would not improve his outcome. We have spoken to a specialist about the best care plan to keep him comfortable and happy for the time he has left.

Homey is a big part of our family and of CEE. He has been with us from the beginning and has been there for so many jobs, videos, safety checks and moments that all of you have also shared with us. So now he has officially entered a very well earned retirement from his Safety Officer duties, and we are making sure his days are as cosy and full of the things he loves.

We know how much he means to this community and that many of you love him just as much so we will keep you updated. Thank you for all your support, kindness, and love for the best boy.🥹🩵

Righto guys,

As 2025 wraps up, we just wanted to take a moment to say a massive thank you.

This year has been a big one in the workshop. We stayed ridiculously busy with customer jobs, continued making progress on the Franna crane project and kept developing shop made tools that genuinely help us do our work better day to day.

One of the biggest moments of the year was installing the overhead gantry crane into the workshop. It instantly made a huge difference to how we work in the shop, how we handle larger jobs and the overall efficiency for getting things done. 💪

You also showed a lot of support for one video in particular. Can We Save This Cracked Final Drive Spindle Off a CAT 793 Mining Truck? ended up being our most watched video of the year, and the response to that one honestly surprised us.

On the tooling side, our shop made tools like the Rolling Tool, Custom Trolley, Adjustable Spanners, BT40 Arbors, and the Mother of All Cutters were all built with real workshop use in mind and have become part of how we tackle customer jobs more efficiently.

Thank you for watching, supporting, and being part of the CEE journey. We’re taking a short break over the holidays, then it’s straight back into it in 2026 with some big plans already in the works.
