Farstray Archives is an illustrated field guide to world mythology and folklore. The myths, monsters and legends the record lost, misfiled, or got wrong.

I'm Pascal. I research and write every episode, following a single figure, myth or folktale back to its earliest sources. From fossil skulls to court records to river spirits, I'm after what the sources actually say. Including for the figures nobody has bothered to research properly.

Expect mythology explained and folklore documentaries covering Greek and Norse myth, Slavic and Celtic folklore, Japanese yokai, African, South Asian and Latin American legends: gods, spirits, witches, fairies, changelings, vampires, werewolves and the monsters behind them. Comparative mythology, folk horror history, and the origins of the creatures everyone thinks they already know.

Greek and Norse take up most of the shelf. The rest of the world's mythology is larger, older, and far stranger.
