"This year hurt, but it also healed the right things" - lettersofannawin
I did it! The last two days since uploading my menopause video, I have received and felt such a bold confirmation and heavenly stamp of approval that a new season has begun. Not because the video went viral (it has not), but because of the messages and conversations that are beginning to trickle in.
My mind is blown, clarity is forming, embarrassment is losing it's grip, shame is being silenced, and Godly confidence is growing louder. Keep me in prayer that God's will in my life continues to unfold. It's time for me to step into the spotlight of my 2nd act 🎬
Ladies, subscribe to my channel@DesiraeOfori if you haven't already! Let's see what God has in store for us as we share faith, creativity and healing together🙏

Surprise Surprise! I have a new video totally unexpected but I pray (oh Lord how I do pray) it will reach the woman it was meant for - because your girl was scared to share this. However, I could not shake the consistent nudge that this was the appointed time to speak up and help another Sister with my story. Thanks in advance for holding space for me as I share my heart and encourage you in return ❤️

⏳️ One thing I've come to learn and appreciate about God is this: God is a God of details. He doesn't rush. He doesn't make mistakes. He's not impulsive. He's not hesitant. He's an on time God who considers all the details. I know it's easier said than done - especially when you're in the thick of whatever is going on. But if you hold on just a little while longer, know He's working some very fine details out for you.
He has NOT forgotten you or your request. As a matter of fact take this encouragement from Daniel 9:23 that says, "As soon as you started praying, the answer was given, and I have come to explain it to you because God loves you very much..." Apply this message to yourself. As soon as you started praying, an answer was given... it's on the way.
So, keep your eyes and heart open for the answers and miracles in progress. They may be closer than you think ✨️
"On time God
You love the impossible
On time God
You love doing miracles
I see it all now (I see it all now)
How Your hand was always working
Even in doubt
You were faithful, never failing
Even when I thought the darkness won
You showed up
On time God
You love the impossible
On time God
You love doing miracles
You're never too late (You're never too late)
You never give up (You never give up)
Nothing- (Nothing's too far gone)
For the on time God"

✨️ A little encouragement from my journal to your heart: "Hold on. Don't give up. Change for the better is coming. It won't be much longer now, then all of this waiting will be a memory that you will look back and see how God was orchestrating the biggest breakthrough and blessing you've ever known. Your best days are not behind you. You're just getting started. Don't lose hope, hold on to it with every bit of strength you have left. And don't worry if it's not much. You don't have to strain as hard as you think, because God is holding you up too" ❤️ DK

Giving God thanks 🙌 As far as I know my family in Jamaica are accounted for, safe and sound. They're in the St. James/Montego Bay area - one of the areas where Hurricane Melissa hit bad. Some roads and bridges are broken but their homes are safe to still be in. If you ever consider sending or dropping off supplies to people or organizations receiving items - portable solar powered batteries and equipment is a big help. And if you don't feel comfortable giving to an organization, reach out to friends and family who you know have loved ones in Jamaica that you can give to directly. With the amount of Jamaicans abroad, I'm sure you won't have to look very far 🇯🇲💚

I know brighter days are ahead. God wouldn't let you go through this deep valley to leave you there. He's bringing you up. Brighter days are ahead ✨️

I don't have anything profound to say. I just wanted these photos on my timeline, so when I see them again in the future I'm reminded of God's faithfulness and the on time respite He consistently brings to my soul when I need it most. Last week was so hectic and full of responsibilities - good responsibilities - I was exhausted on so many levels. I'm so glad God helped me to get through the week so I can experience the weekend. I'll leave you with this. 🎶 He may not come when you want Him, but He'll be there right on time. He's an on time God, yes He is!

🎶 "Might feel pain, but every day is new" - Madison Ryann Ward. I love this line because it reminds me of the hopeful scripture Psalm 30:5 "Weeping may endure for a night but JOY comes in the morning."
I'm encouraged that the swells of life, are just that... swells. There will be ups and there will be downs. And because of that, the lows are not guaranteed to last forever. There will be some mornings where the weeping from the night carries over to the morning. Even then, all is not lost, because the Joy of the Lord is promised to be our strength (Nehemiah 8:10).
I also love this "JOY" biblical explanation from scripturalgrace.com that says, "The Hebrew word for joy used in Psalm 30:5 is 'rinnah'. It means “ringing cry of entreaty, supplication” or “ringing cry in proclamation, joy, praise.” What this means is that the joy that comes in the morning is a deep cry of prayer mixed with a song of praise. David is trying to convey the deeper meaning of joy. He is saying that joy is not found after the painful episodes that we go through when everything has been made right but true joy is knowing that God is with us in the midst of our painful trials." - Karen O'Reilly
✨️Takeaway - If you're in the valley, and on the down swing of the life swell be encouraged. Hold on to the hope and promise that better is coming, joy is available, and God has not forgotten you. He's closer than you could ever imagine... even now ❤️

Have you ever been told to "just be positive" when your heart was breaking? I have. And I've learned there's something so much deeper and more resilient than that.
That's what I'm talking about today: the huge difference between the pressure of toxic positivity and the true anchor of what I call "holy positivity."
This whole conversation is deeply personal. It's rooted in the practical things that carried me through one of the hardest seasons of my life—caring for my mom at the end of hers. It’s about moving beyond just being grateful to truly enjoying the gifts God gives us, even in the midst of pain.
I dive deep into all of this in my new YouTube video, and it's also the heart and soul behind this month's art print, "Look for the Good".
If you've ever struggled to find hope when things look hopeless, this is for you.
To watch the full, heartfelt video, click below! I'd love to hear how you hold onto hope in the hard seasons. ❤️
