Juicy chicken lollipops fried till crispy and tossed in bold, spicy saucesβthis party starter never fails to steal the spotlight. Ingredients
Chicken Lollipops β cleaned & frenched Ginger-Garlic Paste Red Chilli Powder β heat & color Turmeric Powder β mild warmth Black Pepper Powder β sharp spice Soy Sauce β umami flavor Vinegar β tangy balance Cornstarch β crisp coating Salt β to taste Oil β for deep frying Spring Onion Greens / Coriander β garnish Chilli Sauce β for serving
π³ Method
Marinate the Chicken In a bowl, add chicken lollipops, ginger-garlic paste, red chilli powder, turmeric, black pepper, soy sauce, vinegar, salt, and cornstarch. Mix well and rest for 30 minutes. Deep Fry Heat oil on medium flame. Fry lollipops until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain excess oil. Optional Sauce Toss (Restaurant Style) Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan. Add a little garlic, chilli sauce, soy sauce, and vinegar. Toss fried lollipops quickly until coated. Final Touch Garnish with spring onion greens or coriander. Wrap bone tips with foil for the classic look. Serve Hot Serve with spicy red sauce or schezwan dip and lemon wedges.
β’ Fresh Coriander Leaves: The main base of the chutney. β’ Green Chilies: For heat and spice. β’ Ginger: Provides a sharp, aromatic zing. β’ Garlic (optional): For added depth of flavor. β’ Roasted Peanuts / Chana Dal: These act as a thickener to give the chutney body and a creamy texture. β’ Lemon Juice / Tamarind: Adds the necessary tanginess to balance the spice. β’ Salt: To enhance all the flavors. β’ Cumin Seeds: For an earthy, smoky undertone. β’ Water: Used sparingly to help blend the ingredients into a smooth paste.
