🌸 What a special time at yesterday's Hills Women Garden Party! 🌿✨
We had an amazing time of worship, enjoyed wonderful fellowship together, and heard inspiring messages about gratitude from Steph Luckey and Lynnette Bengtson.
Massive thanks to everyone who volunteered their time and talent to make this day unforgettable - from setting up to serving delicious treats, you all played a part in creating such a lovely atmosphere.
And let's not forget the incredible spread of food - everything was delicious!
But most of all, it was the beautiful connections and conversations shared among sisters in faith that made the day truly special.

On Good Friday, Hills Church gathered for 'The Way of the Cross' this is a tradition at Hills Church. Each year on Good Friday, we carry the cross through the suburb of Everton Hills symbolising the journey that Jesus took on His way to calvary. Members of our congregation take turns in carrying the cross along Queens Rd, arriving at Hills Church where they are joined by our congregation. The congregation then follows the cross down the hill and into the auditorium, leading into our tradition Tenebrae service. Tenebrae, Latin for “darkness” or “shadows,” is a liturgical service that involves the gradual extinguishing of candles, representing the fading light of the world as Jesus faced his darkest hour on the cross. Through scripture readings and reflective music, we contemplate the sacrifice of Christ and the hope of redemption.
