We couldn’t go up the Petronas Towers (they were fully booked 😅), but the views from KL Tower more than made up for it — and the hotel pool may have had the best skyline views of the entire trip.

We finally made it to one of the places we’ve been dreaming about for years — Kamala Beach, Phuket 🌴✨

We stayed at Novotel Phuket Kamala Beach, tucked into the quietest corner of the shoreline. Think: waves at your door, a laid-back beach boardwalk, tropical breakfasts, sunset dinners in the sand, and a pool that looks straight out at the Andaman Sea.

We wandered for street food, got massages on the beach (while the kids happily joined in 🙌), tried everything from Pad Thai to buttery croissants, and even made a grocery run to see what everyday life looks like in another corner of the world — one of our favorite ways to explore a new place.

Kamala was everything we hoped for:
🤍 calmer than the bustling beaches
🌴 scenic, warm, and welcoming
🍍 delicious food everywhere you turn
👨‍👩‍👦 family-friendly without sacrificing charm

We loved it so much we already know we’ll be back — probably more than once 😉
