During my time at Doo Creative (2013–2014), I had the opportunity to work on a vibrant pitch campaign for Microsoft Yammer, entirely focused on print media. Our aim was to reimagine workplace communication with a fresh, relatable twist—where each creative told a playful yet strategic story. From metaphors like "Yammer is Yammy Too!" to “Yammer Gives You a Break!” and “Yammer Plays Your Game!”, each concept was thoughtfully designed to reflect the essence of collaboration, engagement, and team spirit. It was a memorable collaboration with a wonderful team that included client servicing support from Sandip Nair and copywriting by Mary Mathai. These creatives were a delightful blend of humor, metaphor, and messaging, making internal communication feel fun, digestible, and effective.

Throwback to my time (2007–2009) at Quicksilver Advertising Pvt Ltd, where I had the incredible opportunity to work on The Brainplex—a visionary edutainment brand. Collaborating with Creative Director Dhananjay Ganesh, we crafted three impactful campaigns: IQ Booster, WhizKids, and Super Smarts—each designed to visualise academic learning as fun, nutritious, and essential. From concept to packaging design, I was deeply involved in building these child-centric, metaphor-rich visuals that made software feel like a supplement for young minds. A truly rewarding journey blending creativity, strategy, and design thinking.

My Journey with Sparkrill International School - India & Demyurji Advertising Pvt. Ltd.

Working on the Sparkrill International School - India campaign was a deeply fulfilling experience for me, Ramesh Chandra. Partnering with Demyurji Advertising Pvt. Ltd., I collaborated closely with Kamal Maliramani, whose clear vision and strategic direction shaped the soul of this campaign, and Vikram Shankar, our lensman, whose sensitivity to narrative and expression helped visually capture the idea of learning through generations.

The brief was powerful: Make education feel like a shared journey—not just for children, but for their parents and grandparents too. That’s what inspired me to craft this visual storytelling approach—juxtaposing moments where the child becomes the teacher, rekindling joy and learning for the elder.

From conceptualising scenes like a grandfather on a skateboard, to a grandmother discovering email, a businessman playing the violin, or a mother counting with an abacus, every visual posed a challenge and a joy—how to communicate emotion, discovery, and the spark of curiosity. The black-and-white photographs were intentionally chosen to contrast the vibrancy of new learning moments led by children.

Each frame was crafted with care, and every line of copy aimed to speak from the heart. I'm proud of how this campaign connected emotionally with the audience, staying true to Sparkrill’s promise: "Ignite the genius within."

A Throwback to My Journey in Recruitment Branding

Between 1994 and 2001, during my tenure at TMI Group as a Senior Visualiser & Assistant Art Director, I had the privilege of working on the Patni Computer Services Ltd. recruitment advertising campaign. This project was more than just creating visuals—it was about crafting a compelling employer brand narrative that resonated with the IT industry's top talent.

The campaign centered around four powerful themes:

Enhancement – Energized by passion and professionalism, highlighting opportunities for skill development and career growth.

Expertise – Delivering innovation and excellence through industry-leading knowledge and experience.

Endurance – Showcasing perseverance, resilience, and the drive for continuous success.

Excellence – A commitment to maintaining the highest standards in technology, talent, and transformation.

Each of these concepts was translated into bold typography, dynamic visuals, and structured messaging to reflect Patni’s vision and commitment to empowering professionals. Collaborating with Vinod Kumar Mavilla as my copy partner, and working alongside Kuriakose A in client servicing, was truly an enriching experience. Under the leadership of Muralidharan Thyagarajan, Managing Director of TMI Group, this campaign came to life, setting a benchmark in IT recruitment advertising.

Looking back, I feel immense gratitude for this experience, which shaped my understanding of branding, recruitment communication, and visual storytelling in the corporate space.

Looking back at 2002-2005, I had the opportunity to work with TRIKAAL ADVERTISING PRIVATE LIMITED on branding and corporate advertising for Golden Gate Properties. These campaigns were crafted to capture the essence of premium living and investment opportunities, bringing out the unique charm of projects like #Harmony @ Attibele real estate.

Each project demanded a keen understanding of visual #storytelling, #strategic messaging, and #audience engagement to align with the aspirations of #homebuyers and #investors. The challenge was to translate the brand’s promise into impactful campaigns—highlighting not just real estate, but a #lifestyle and #vision for the #future.

It was an enriching #journey, made even more rewarding by the collaboration with Sunil Kilaru, Hari P, Vikram Shankar, and Abdul Hannan—each bringing expertise that shaped the creative direction of these campaigns.

Grateful for these experiences that refined my approach to design, communication, and real estate advertising.
