Hi! I won't be posting a video for this week. Things have been HECTIC the past couple of weeks and I still don't have a voice! I've been sounding froggy for about a month now due to a cold. (The last time I had a raspy voice it lasted a few months so I may have to start making some videos with subtitles... or just take a break.)
I've been working on my storyboard portfolio the past few days which is pretty exciting! I'll put some art up on instagram as I make portfolio progress. You can find me there at: @artofandreakhaid.

Hi, I hope you're having a great day! I just wanted to let you know where I am at. This past summer I made a decision to upload a new video every 2 weeks and I managed to get out 6 videos on schedule! (In 2022 I uploaded only 3 videos and in 2021 just 2 so my track record has certainly improved, haha!) For the past 12 weeks or so however I've spent an inordinate amount of time editing videos. Spending so much time editing content has taken away from my ability to get closer to my artistic goals so I've had to rethink my priorities a little. I think that the most I should be uploading right now is once a month. (Maybe even less??) That means Oct 5 should be the next time I upload. Working on my personal and professional goals is really important for me right now. And so is spending time with family.
I've become quicker and more confident in terms of video editing which is pretty cool. I've put 17 images on Instagram in the past 12 weeks which is actually amazing for me. (If you want to check that out it's here: www.instagram.com/artofandreakhaid) I've never participated in Inktober or Mermay, 24 Hours Comic Day (or any drawing challenges!), but with October around the corner I intend to change that this year! For now I have an Unreal course that I'm taking and that's going to keep me real busy for the next week.
