Random behind-the-scenes thought while finishing the thumbnail for my next One Piece cinematic cover. I spent way too long today just staring at color options for the title text. Blue for the waves? White for classic look? Red because it reminds me of Luffy's red in the One Piece logo? Ended up going with orange because it matches the koi fish vibes.

It’s a weird feeling.
I keep stumbling across AI-generated songs. There are so many of them now, racking up way more streams than some human artists who don’t use AI. A lot of those tracks actually sound really good. But at the same time it makes me sick to my stomach. I pour a hundred times more effort into recording covers completely from scratch, and my audience is a tiny fraction of what those AI tracks get. It’s genuinely painful to watch the thing I work on slowly disappear in front of my eyes, just so people who lean on AI can take the spotlight.
