Untold side of VD SAVARKAR,Those thoughts have the potential of earning him the tag of “fake Hindu librandu” by the radical right winger IT CELL TODAY'S INDIA ..

North Indians who never read or understood Savarkar now do anything in his name. They turn his legacy into slogans instead of study. But people from Ratnagiri, Maharashtra the place he came from, know the real story better. They know that Savarkar was complex, disciplined, and deeply committed to rational thought.

Veer Savarkar was an atheist and also a nationalist. He believed in reason, science, and political strength. He did not believe that rituals or religious practices should control society or politics. Because of this, many people misunderstood him, both in his own time and today.

When he died, his last journey was very simple. He asked for no long Hindu rituals. No special mourning days. No big ceremonies. He wanted only a direct cremation at an electric crematorium. He said society should move forward, not stay tied to customs that he felt were unnecessary.

Not everyone attended his funeral. Some stayed away because they were uncomfortable with his atheistic thinking. They could not accept that a man who influenced so much nationalist thought did not follow traditional religion. This shows how powerful social pressure can be.

Today, something even more ironic is happening. Many groups who call themselves hardcore defenders of Hindutva use Savarkar’s name loudly. But they attack anyone who questions, anyone who uses reason, or anyone who supports debate. They do not realize that Savarkar himself questioned religious authority, rejected rituals, and challenged blind faith. In many ways, their behavior goes against the founder of the ideology they claim to protect.

Savarkar’s life shows that revolution is not only about shouting or following one leader. It is about thinking, questioning, and building a strong society with courage and intelligence. If we only use his name without understanding him, we lose the real lesson he tried to teach.

Cow Protection Gopalan Havey, Gopujan Navhey Marathi
Caste Reform Jatyuchhedak Nibandha Marathi
Science & Modernity Vidnyannishtha Nibandha Marathi
General Philosophy Samagra Savarkar Vangmaya (Collected Works) Marathi/English

Much of this material was written while Savarkar was under house arrest in Ratnagiri (1924–1937), where he focused heavily on social reforms like the construction of the Patit Pavan Temple, which was open to all castes.

1. On Cow Worship and Dr. Ambedkar
Statement: The assertion that Hindu purity is "tarnished by even the shadow of such a learned person as Dr. Ambedkar" while being "purified" by a cow's tail drenched in excreta.
Source: "Gopalan Havey, Gopujan Navhey" (Care for Cows, Do Not Worship Them), first published in the Marathi journal Kirloskar (1935).
Context: Savarkar used this comparison to illustrate what he called buddhi hatya (murder of the intellect). He argued that placing an animal above a highly educated human was a sign of a "superstitious mindset" that destroyed national intelligence.
2. On Hindutva and "Cow's Legs"
Statement: "If Hindutva is to sustain itself on a cow's legs, it will come crashing down at the slightest sign of a crisis".
Source: Also from the essay "Gopalan Havey, Gopujan Navhey" (1935).
Context: Savarkar advocated for the cow to be treated as a useful animal (pashu) rather than a divine mother (mata), arguing that the Hindu nation should be founded on the strength of a "lion" rather than the perceived weakness of a cow.
3. On Pigs and the "Varaha Avatar"
Statement: Savarkar's suggestion that if Hindus worship cows based on Puranas, they should also form "pig-protection groups" because Lord Vishnu took the form of a boar (Varaha).
Source: "Vidnyannishtha Nibandha" (Pro-Science Essays), published in Samagra Savarkar Vangmaya (Vol. 3).
Context: He intended to ridicule the inconsistency of religious traditions and pushed for a rational, utilitarian approach to all animals rather than selective worship.
4. On the Caste System ("Seven Shackles")
Statement: Discussion on a Shudra becoming a Brahmin and the need to break the "Seven Shackles" of Hindu society.
Source: "Jatyuchhedak Nibandha" (Essays on the Abolition of Caste) and his 1931 essay "Seven Shackles of Hindu Society" (Sapta Bandi).
Context: He identified seven social prohibitions—including Sparshabandi (untouchability) and Rotibandi (inter-dining)—that he believed had weakened India. He argued that heredity should not determine status and that scriptural injunctions justifying caste should be discarded.
5. On India and Europe
Statement: "India is 200 years behind Europe".
Source: "Vidnyannishtha Nibandha" (Pro-Science Essays).
Context: Savarkar believed India remained backward because it focused on religious discourse and ancient scriptures instead of adopting modern technology and the scientific method.

Modern Colonization ,US President Donald Trump stated that the United States would “run” Venezuela until a safe, judicious transfer of power and a proper political transition is achieved. The remark reflects Washington’s continued hardline stance on Venezuela’s governance crisis, signaling potential administrative oversight aimed at stabilizing institutions and restoring democratic order amid prolonged economic and political instability.

Founder of India's feminism Savitribai Phule, on your birth anniversary, we remember the woman who turned learning into liberation. You opened school doors for girls, challenged cruelty with courage, and proved that education can defeat fear. Your legacy still tells India, rise, read, question, and change the world 🇮🇳❤️

Remembering #SavitribaiPhule, The Indian social reformer, poet and founder of the first women's school in India, On Her 124th Death Anniversary.

1. Savitribai Phule, Victim and Survivor of Child Marriage
She was married off at the tender age of 9. Though her husband was one of her biggest supporters, it was this which made her vehemently oppose the evil practice of child marriage. Looking at the wasted lives of young widows who were victims of child marriage, also led to her to opposing the evil practice of Sati.

2. One Woman, Many Roles
Besides being a teacher and a social reformer, Savitribai Phule was also a philosopher and a poet. Her poetry focused on nature, education and the abolition of the caste system. Thus, she played many roles in just one lifetime. Here is a snippet from one of her poems

3. Compassionate Woman
Other than fighting for the rights of women, Savitribai Phule also vouched for the rights of the untouchables and lower caste people in India. Such was her compassion that she opened up a well for the untouchables in her own house.

4. Women’s Protection and Rights activist
She always laid emphasis on the education of women. It was she who, along with her husband, opened the first school for girls in India. Together they went on to open 18 such schools. The miserable condition of pregnant rape victims was also observed by Savitribai Phule, and hence, yet again with her husband’s support, she opened a care center “Balhatya Pratibandhak Griha”

5. Believer of Love Marriage
Back in the days, when the caste system was deeply embedded in our culture and society, she promoted inter-caste marriages openly. She founded the Satyashodhak Samaj, along with her husband. Here, people could get married without a priest and without any sort of dowry being given or taken.

6. No-shave movement
She organized and led a strike against the barbers to discourage and stop the practice of shaving the heads of the widows which was a norm back in those days.

7. The Struggles
Fighting against the system and the society, at a time when India was still suppressed by the British and also its own rigid caste and superstitions, Savitribai Phule wasn’t exactly welcomed with open arms. People used to dislike her movements so much that they threw dirt and mud on her whenever she used to go out to teach the girls. However, Savitribai wasn’t one to give up easily, and hence always carried an extra pair of clothes with her for such scenarios.

8. Practicing What She Preached
She once stopped a pregnant woman from committing suicide by promising her that she would take care of her unborn child. Later, she and her husband adopted the son who was born to this lady. They named him Yashavant Rao. He grew up to become a doctor. Moreover, she believed so much in the importance of education and its equality that in order to encourage students to study and reduce the drop-out rate, she used to give stipends to children for attending school.

9. Contributions to Healthcare
Along with her adopted son, Yashwant, she opened a clinic to treat those people who were affected by the worldwide Third Pandemic of the bubonic plague when it started to spread in and around Pune in 1897.

10. After Death
Savitribai Phule passed away on March 10, 1897. To honor her lifeworks and contributions, the University of Pune was renamed as Savitribai Phule Pune University in 2015. Her unreleased poems were published posthumously in the form of two books, Kavya Phule (1934) and Bavan Kashi Subodh Ratnakar (1982), respectively. India Post released a stamp in honor of Savitribai Phule on March 10, 1998.

Delivery partners across India have stepped up demands for a minimum monthly pay of ₹40,000 along with basic labour rights, highlighting growing discontent within the platform-based delivery ecosystem. Workers associated with food, grocery, and hyperlocal delivery services say rising fuel costs, longer working hours, and lack of income security have made current pay structures unsustainable.

In several cities, delivery partners have voiced concerns over uncertain earnings, algorithm-based penalties, and absence of social security benefits such as health insurance, paid leave, and accident coverage. Many say they are classified as “independent contractors,” which leaves them without protections typically available to salaried employees, despite working full-time hours.

Worker groups and unions supporting the movement argue that a fixed minimum monthly pay would bring stability and dignity to the profession, especially as delivery partners play a crucial role in urban economies. They have also called for transparent incentive systems, grievance redressal mechanisms, and recognition under labour laws.

Platform companies have not issued a consolidated response yet, though previous statements have maintained that their flexible work model benefits workers. As discussions around the gig economy intensify, the demands from delivery partners are expected to fuel a broader debate on fair pay, workers’ rights, and regulation of platform-based employment in India.

He visited India, clicked photos with everyone kids, Indian youth footballers, Sunil Chhetri, and Sachin Tendulkar. Nearly 60% of the photos were with politicians. But when he returned to Argentina and posted a video, not a single politician appeared. Supremacy of the GOAT.

wasn’t disrespectful. It wasn’t loud. It was intentional.

That quiet choice reminded fans why Messi is more than just a footballer. He doesn’t sell politics. He sells dreams. He doesn’t chase power. He connects with people especially the next generation.

In a world obsessed with optics, Messi chose substance.
Clicked with politicians in India. Cut them out. Posted sportsmen and Indian youth in Argentina.

GOAT supremacy isn’t always about goals. Sometimes, it’s about what you choose to leave out.

On this day in 1928, a decisive chapter of India’s freedom struggle unfolded. Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, and Rajguru took action against British officer J.P. Saunders in Lahore, seeking justice for the death of Lala Lajpat Rai, who succumbed to injuries after a brutal lathi charge. The incident reflected the rising anger among young revolutionaries against colonial oppression and marked a turning point in the independence movement. Their courage, sacrifice, and unwavering belief in freedom ignited national consciousness and inspired generations to stand up against injustice. This moment remains a powerful reminder of the price paid for India’s liberty and the spirit that shaped the nation’s history.
