This is your channel for exploring the world of pixel art specifically through the medium of mini perler beads. On this channel we will be looking at the techniques for creating thousands of designs and characters.

Pixel Art by Pricedown Productions introduces its own aesthetic for pixel art. Our basic design philosophy:

1. Donkey Kong Rules

All designs are contained in a 16x16 grid or smaller

2. No black outlines

The 16x16 framework is too small to use valuable space for black outlines.

3. No Megaman

Megaman is a winning design with almost limitless variations. However, it is significantly larger than 16x16. At Pricedown Productions you will not see any designs based on Megaman.

4. K.I.S.S.

Keep it Small and Simple. At Pricedown Productions the goal is to distill images to their essence and use as few pixels as possible to create a recognizable image.
