This channel will largely focus on presenting history in mapping.

From the rise and fall of the Roman Empire, to conflicts throughout the world, see history unfold in maps.

Just to clarify, I am not German, despite the name of my channel. I am actually American (although I have some German heritage) and I barely know any German. I am simply fond of the nation of Prussia.

Franco-Dutch War Progress Report:
I've been on fall break, so I've had a lot of time to make progress on the war. I have now gotten through all of the years in terms of research (and, thus, have the overall timeline events); all that's left for research is potentially refining the details of the information I already have. Nevertheless, I have enough information at the moment that I should be able to start mapping it. I hope to have a preview of the video out by early to mid-November. Stay tuned!

Franco-Dutch War Progress Update:
Exams and midterms are coming up in the coming weeks, so progress will probably slow down on the war.
Research for 1672 is pretty much done, but there are still a few pieces of information I have yet to find (if they exist). I've been jumping largely between 1673 and 1674 because I've been having more difficulty finding detailed information for 1673. Even so, both years are probably around halfway done at least. Given that 1672 is all but complete, I should be able to start mapping it. I have already made the first slide, so here's a preview for it:

Prussian Mapping

Hello, everyone. I just started college a few weeks ago and haven't really gotten any time whatsoever to work on my channel. Many of you probably already saw my announcement that I will be working on a major project for this channel; that project will be the Franco-Dutch War: Every Day. Given the aforementioned scale of this project, not to mention the limited time I will have to work on it due to college, I will be posting (hopefully) regular updates on my progress. I hope to have a more formal trailer for the project out soon!

From July 2021 to May 2022, I began a "County History" series to cover how the counties (and politics) of US states have changed throughout US history. However, seeing as this doesn't exactly fit this channel's theme, I will be moving this series to a different channel. The videos I have already uploaded to this channel will stay up, but the series will continue on that channel. Stay tuned!

UPDATE: I was going to have part 2 be the Austro-Turkish War, but I just found a video that maps that war quite well (a link to that person's video can be found below). However, it does not map out the Dalmatian front particularly well, so part 2 will largely focus on that aspect of the war.

UPDATE: With Don Young's death, Alaska's sole seat in the US House is now vacant. A special election will likely occur in mid-August to replace him, with the open primary likely in May or June.

Prussian Mapping

A few days ago, I rebranded my second channel (History Explained, formerly Speculative History) to Galimulator Mapping. I will now be uploading videos that map out the history of different countries and empires from timelapses of the game Galimulator.

Today, I will be uploading the first of these videos on my second channel (a preview can be seen below), though, at least for now, the old content on that channel will remain.

I also hope to have a new Shorts video on my main channel soon!

Prussian Mapping

Here is a preview for an upcoming video, which should be posted tomorrow. For some explanation of it:
- Gray borders indicate unorganized counties/areas attached to organized counties, or bordering unorganized counties/areas that are attached to the same county (ex: in northwest Illinois, Ogle and Whiteside are both attached to Jo Daviess, so the borders they share with Jo Daviess and each other are gray).
- Lieutenant Governors in italics are in an acting position

Prussian Mapping

It has been nearly a year since I posted my last video. I've either been busy with other things or just simply haven't had the motivation to work on any new videos. However, I will now (hopefully) be returning. Content will still be mapping, just probably not quite as history-oriented. Below is a preview for an upcoming video, which should come out in a few days.
