A lot of people suggest Amari Cooper when discussing potential additions to the Browns wide receiver room. But Tony Grossi put that fire out quickly.

“Although Cooper and Flacco made beautiful music together in 2023, I really think his ship has sailed out of the Cleveland port.”

Cooper became the first Browns receiver to post back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons. He also set the franchise single-game record with 265 yards against the Texans in 2023.

The Browns traded Cooper to the Bills last season for the 3rd-round pick that became Dillon Gabriel.

Tony Grossi shared how he believes the Browns view their rookie QB.

“They are intrigued with Dillon Gabriel. They think from the neck up, he's a No. 1 pick.”

The Browns were ‘blown away’ by Dillon Gabriel’s processing speed during the offseason program, according to NFL Network’s Judy Battista.

Gabriel received a heavy dose of first-team reps alongside Kenny Pickett during OTAs and minicamp.

In fact, Gabriel took the most reps (83) of all the quarterbacks this spring.

Battista also reported the Browns quarterback situation will be decided by processing speed and decision making. This criteria coincides with the emphasis on reps for the 3rd-round rookie.

Should the Browns and Vikings consider a trade for Joe Flacco? Bleacher Report’s Matt Holder suggested the Browns trade Flacco for draft capital, and Heavy.com’s Max Dible believes Minnesota would be an ideal trade partner.

“Minnesota could offer a Day-3 pick that sends a real asset back Cleveland’s way for a quarterback they may not need/use this season and almost certainly won’t include on the roster come spring 2026.”

Dible has a point: Flacco likely won’t be in the Browns plans beyond this season. If the Vikings want better depth behind JJ McCarthy than just Sam Howell, Flacco would make sense for a team in their win-now window.

Training camp starts this week, and the Browns quarterback situation will hopefully start to become more clear.

Damon Wolfe from In Motion Football believes the Browns 2024 season was the exception and not the norm under Kevin Stefanski.

“I consider what took place last season with the Browns more of an anomaly. The results don’t match what they have built over the past few years.”

In Motion projects the Browns for a 7-10 season in 2025. Do you think the Browns reach 7 wins?

Albert Breer was on Afternoon Drive to discuss the Browns QB room and Deshaun Watson.

“Despite everything, he’s still the most talented quarterback on the roster.”

Do you agree with Breer that Watson is the most talented QB the Browns currently have?

Terry Pluto didn’t mince words when discussing the recent arrest and domestic violence charge for Quinshon Judkins.

“Regardless of how this plays out in the legal system, most Browns fans have the same emotions that I do: We’re sick of this stuff.”

Pluto notes Judkins had no prior red flags that he could dig up, not even a speeding ticket.

But no one can blame Browns fans for being fed up with the constant negative attention that seems to constantly surround this team.
