... I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me. These works of mercy are simple deeds, and yet in these simple deeds we serve Jesus. The truth is; we serve Christ by serving needy people. You can’t help all needy people, but you can help some. And when you do, you are serving Jesus.
It is written in Micah 7:8, Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I SHALL RISE; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me. In difficult times, it’s easy to keep saying the negative things that are happening to you. Beloved, things may be coming against you, but know this: God didn’t create you to be overcome; He created you to be an overcomer. You may have been knocked down, but defeat is not how your story ends. If you’re going to come out of that challenge, you have to stop using the depressing things happening to decribe yourself. You have to stop talking defeat and start speaking victory by declaring, I am more than a conqueror, this problem didn’t come to stay; it came to pass. God being for me is more than the world being against me. So I will arise.
God desires for you to live in victory in every area of your life. 1 Corinthians 15:57 says Thanks be to God, Who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. He always causes us to triumph through Christ Jesus. No matter what you may be facing today, God wants you to triumph over that situation. Are you battling sickness? God wants to give you healing. Are you struggling with a broken relationship? God wants to give you restoration and peace. Are you facing a need—physically, spiritually or emotionally? God wants to give you provision and supply all of your needs according to His riches in glory. Notice today’s verse starts by saying, "Thanks be to God." In the Bible, when God's people were going into battle, they sent the worshipers out in front of the warriors. When you choose to be thankful and bless the Lord in the midst of your battle, you are making a way for Him to move in your life. So start today by thanking Him for His goodness. Magnify God; don't magnify the problem. Give God thanks and make the way for victory.
Jesus said: “Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are? Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith?... Your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need(Mathew 6:26-33).

YOUR FATHER OWNS THE UNIVERSE
When you are born again, you are born of God. You are a child of the Most High God. Romans 8:16 says God sees you in the Spirit; and His Spirit bears witness with your spirit that you are His child. So when you say that you cannot afford to buy something that you need, you have forgotten which family you now belong to. You have been born again into a very rich family—your Father owns the universe and all that is in it(Psalm 50:10), and He is able to give you abundantly above all you could ever think of. If there are areas of lack in your life now, just ask your Daddy and He will supply your need according to His riches, because you are His beloved child.
