Deep Cleaning Alert 🚨 | Don’t Drink from a Mouldy Water System

We recently carried out a deep cleaning on a K8 water ionizer that was one of the most mouldy machines we’ve seen to date.

The top hose was completely mouldy, and even the secondary hose was turning yellow — clear signs of serious build-up. After running the external pump with citric acid solution for 4 hours, thick clumps of mould came off when we brushed the top hose.

Both the top hose and the filter should have been replaced, but the owner chose to delay it until returning from his FIFO rotation next month.

The machine was only 2 years old… yet it looked like it had never been e-cleaned or professionally maintained since day one.

đź’§ What you need to know:
• Medical-grade Kangen water ionizers are capable of being cleaned in multiple ways. Many parts can be replaced because Kangen is built to last.
• Non-medical-grade water systems cannot be cleaned — if mould can build up on the outside, imagine what’s inside.
• Don’t be fooled by ads or salespeople claiming “self-cleaning systems” are better. Routine maintenance is essential if you care about the quality of water you drink.

If you want the same high-quality water on year 30 as on day 1, regular home e-cleaning plus annual deep cleaning is the only way to go.
