Hey! My name is Walter Ostlie. I'm a comic book creator living in Florida. My two books are Shiver Bureau and Cubicles. I also have a webcomic, Haxor. The channel will have a bunch of videos on my process and techniques to help others create their own comic books. I like to skateboard also, so if I ever land a kickflip that video will also pop up on here.

Have you updated your Webtoon thumbnails yet? DId you know that Webtoon made a change to it's thumbnail displays? Now there is a square and vertical thumbnail. TAPAS sold for $510 million bucks!!! Did you see this crazy news about Tapas getting bought for $510 million dollars by a Korean media company? Tapas may be in the same spending budget as Webtoon now. This is pretty crazy and definitely adds more fuel to the fire that is webcomics. That's some serious money being tossed into the pot. Webtoon vs Tapas vs. The World
Learning more about how to make comics easier.
I wanted to see what everyone's favorite comic platform is for their webtoons and webcomics. The big ones are Webtoons and Tapas, of course, but there is also The Duck, Hive Works, Comic Fury, Made Fire, and sorta Comixology. I am sure there are others out there in the ether.
For creators, artists, writers, colorists, letterers, which platform do you prefer to use for your webtoon, comic, or webcomic? If you use them all, just pick your favorite for uploading, managing, and engaging with your readers. Let me know in the comments why you prefer it.
For readers, which one has most of your favorite comics or why do you prefer one platform over the other? Let me know in the comments. Also let me know what your favorite genre of story and art style is. Romance, action, sci-fi? Manga, manhwa, manhua, Euro, Marvel, DC, Cartoony like Steven Universe, Rick and Morty, or some other Cartoon Network or Adult Swim cartoon? lofi, hip hop, kpop, asmr, baby shark? How would you feel about a new monthly discussion podcast style video? Talking about making comics, writing, art, or related? It would be more philosophizing and insight, not about teaching. It would be freeform and meandering. Maybe with or without guests. Once a month, it would either take the place of the regular tutorial-style video or perhaps a second video in addition to the normal videos. How would you feel if it replaced a tutorial video? Would you only want it if it was in addition to normal videos? Remember, that's more work for me, so only select that one if you really mean it. Obviously, if I could do daily videos, I would.
