Hi! I’m The Africa Nerd a guy that spends far too much time thinking about borders, history, power, trade and what makes the African nations the way they are.

In this channel, I will be explaining the important concepts of Africa’s geopolitics, history, economics, conflicts, and social developments through simple stickman drawing and engaging animated maps.

I have done my best to make things simple and understandable for everyone. No confusing jargon. No boring lectures. Just Africa, explained simply.

So whether you’re curious about why borders look the way they do, how countries compete for influence or what could shape Africa’s future, you’re in the right place!
