This channel is dedicated to "how to" videos showing Microsoft product features, with an angle towards new features and updates. I'm a Product Manager on the Microsoft Education team and I want to help you save time and learn new things in a concise, no-frills way. I have a lot of quick tips on new features in Microsoft Teams, Office apps like OneNote, Word, and PowerPoint, plus many more tutorials. Keep up with the latest Microsoft Education product updates at aka.ms/EdTechBlog

I'm particularly passionate about inclusive & accessible technology, and I have a set of playlists that focus on this type of assistive tech. I work on building many of these products at my Microsoft day job, and I've seen how much these tools can positively can impact people's lives. As I like to say - "Built-in, mainstream, non-stigmatizing and FREE!"

My channel just crossed 50,000 subscribers this morning! I started this channel during the spring 2020 COVID-19 lockdowns with the goal of helping educators, students, parents, and anyone else with Microsoft products for remote learning and remote working. More recently I've been trying to highlight some of the product updates across the M365 product suite.

I hope you find these videos helpful, and would love to hear more about what you'd like to see in the future ๐Ÿ”ฎ Thanks for the continued support!

The product I've been working on, "Reading Progress" in Microsoft Teams, has just finished rolling out globally ๐ŸŒŽ๐ŸŒ๐ŸŒ I'm the Product Manager of Reading Progress and have been working on it since the inception so I'm incredibly excited about this. Reading Progress is a free tool that allows educators to assign reading fluency passages that allows students to independently record themselves reading the passage out loud. Educators can then review the audio and video with assistive AI, and gather insights automatically on student progress.

This week we announced "Reading Progress" in Microsoft Teams for Education. I'm the Product Manager of Reading Progress and have been working on it since the inception so I'm incredibly exited about this announcement. Reading Progress is a free tool that allows educators to assign reading fluency passages that allows students to independently record themselves reading the passage out loud. Educators can then review the audio and video with assistive AI, and gather insights automatically on student progress.

Reading Progress can be used with early readers, struggling readers, non-native speakers, foreign language learners and even adult literacy. We've seen an incredible response so far and we're excited to do a lot more in this space!
