Greencode of life
Everywhere I go, I see packaged water bottles or cups – in the masjid, in gatherings, even in daily conversations about which brand of bottled water is “best”! Recently, I noticed Reliance launching new packaged water, and it made me wonder: why do we still rely so much on packaged bottles?
Isn’t a simple water filter enough instead of selling all these bottles? If we carried our own bottle, or had small glasses by the filter for those who forget, we could reduce tons of plastic waste, avoid health risks from chemicals leaching into water, and save money too.
One habit I’ve embraced in my daily life is carrying a reusable steel bottle everywhere I go. I hope you’ll support me not just by liking this post, but by joining me in this simple practice – carry your bottle like you carry your mobile phone.
Even if this inspires just one person, it’s a step forward for our planet.

Greencode of life
200 Subscribers – Thank You from the Heart!
I’m so humbled and grateful to see our YouTube family grow to 200 strong! When I started this channel, my intention was simple – to share my thoughts, experiences, and learnings around sustainability and mindful living, and to slowly build a community that cares.
My channel is called Mannu – The Green Code. Mannu means soil in Malayalam – and for me, soil is the root of everything: the food we eat, the ground we walk on, the life we depend on. As someone who loves plants and sustainable living, I felt it was the perfect name to carry this journey forward.
I also carry a small dream in my heart – to one day shape Mannu into a little NGO where I can do community work and bring people together for greener living. But for now, this channel is where it all begins – a space to share ideas, inspire change, and grow together.
Reaching this milestone reminds me how powerful YouTube can be – unlike Instagram, where I mostly know my audience, here I connect with people from different places, people I don’t even know but who resonate with this vision. That is truly special.
So thank you, each and every one of you, for being here. This number may seem small, but to me it’s a big encouragement to keep creating, keep learning, and keep sharing.
