Greetings, my name is Uwe Banton, I am a Reggae Artist and musician born and raised in Germany. I was fortunate to have travelled and visited Jamaica in my teenage years in 1981. Overwheled with the vibes and powerful messages from that beautiful island, I started getting into the music and performed on local Sound Systems and clubs as early as the mid-1980s. With my first band starting in 1992, I later released three albums with my band "Movements". From 2004 I went solo and have been recording, performing and touring many places and countries on different continents, mainly Europe, Africa and also America with Ethiopia, Kenya, South Africa and Costa Rica just to name a few countries. Rototom Sunsplash (Spain), Summer Jam in Germany and Reggae Jam are some of the biggest festivals I have played.
