I actually can’t stop smiling— this was such a cute book🥰 Stephanie Garber DOES NOT DISAPPOINT. I am now fully in the mood for Christmas. This novella was so cozy and festive— UGH THE VIBES WERE SO GREAT!
*~Scarlets obsession with the Great Holiday is so funny to me but so real lol~*
I’ve heard a lot of people say there wasn’t enough Scarlet and Julian, and I can totally see how that could be disappointing to some people. But personally I love Donatella and Legend and I felt like there wasn’t enough of them in Finale, but this book made up for that!
THE ART WAS SO STUNNING. Seriously BEAUTIFUL. Stephanie’s writing is so whimsical and it fit so well— her books are like reading a fairytale. This story was so sweet and magical and I loved every second of it. Also the exclusive bonus epilogue… can we please get another novella for the next holiday in the North?? 👀 Maybe with some Evangeline and Jacks…?👀👀👀
Speaking of Jacks— as sad as I was that he wasn’t in this book, I did appreciate the little mentions of him here and there😌 Love how his criminal activities are still influencing Valenda XD. I see why he couldn’t be there though, this book takes place right after Finale and therefore is a Caraval only novella— which means there are no OUABH spoilers for anyone wondering :)
Anyway, this was a stunning, lighthearted book that brought me back to my favorite fictional world as if I never left! IT WAS SO GOOD. I can’t get enough of the Caraval/OUABH universe and I cannot wait to read more!
