My name is Sean Voysey, and I witnessed my first tornado when I was six and have thinking of the beast ever since. Along the way I’ve been a political organizer, a filmmaker, a cook, a writer and a dreamer. I hope to share my passion with you and to (hopefully) teach you something along the way.
PS: There’s going to be some BBQ and good eats along the way. I love celebrating the amazing experiences of America. Storm chasing is also about the people you meet along the way.
Proud husband to Daniella, who I met all the way back in 2002. Proud father to two amazing teenage girls, who teach me something new and amazing every day. All of my videos are for them.

Tornadic Fanatic - Chaser Sean Voysey
Hi folks! My apologies on being late to post! It’s been a very busy week of driving to each corner of Texas! Thanks to all of you who beared with my lower energy sick self. Feeling much better now:) Here’s a quick recap of the highlights:
Thursday (southwestern Oklahoma): Had the pleasure of finally meeting and chasing with @JustinRWindDancerMedia, who was kind enough to drive all the way from Arkansas. We got on only Tornado-warned cell of the day early. It didn’t produce, but the structure and lightning was insane. Justin and I both had a fright when a bolt smacked right by us. We kept on that cell until after nightfall as it kept producing some solid circulations. I can’t wait to chase with Justin again!
(PS When driving to my hotel I had a bolt strike right in front of me. The dash cam will sure be sweet)
Friday (Fort Stockton): Drove to the southwest corner of Texas only for the best action to happen in Dallas/Fort Worth 🤷🏻♂️. Some amazing rotating storms, hail and at the end of the day, a QLCS tornado that I was almost right on (I stayed back because it was dark).
Saturday (San Antonio): Another bust, but some adorable rotating mini cells. Had there been an hour or two more of surface heating they would have been contenders. I did get some great food at J&S bbq in Sandy Oaks. Highly recommend. And saw some Bison!
Not sure when the next stream will be, as we are entering a quiet pattern in CONUS. There will be a few videos coming down the pipeline, so stay tuned!
Cheers,
Sean

Good morning folks!
I will be live later today to cover a severe threat, including a tornado risk, in western Oklahoma and the Texas panhandle. It will be a later event, and the severity depends on how much moisture can make it from the Gulf. See you there!

Good morning!
Hope you are all having a great start to your week. Reporting back from a most excellent vacation where we snorkeled, hiked, zip lined and ate across Oahu. With the exception of a cold we picked up on the way back, feeling rested!
There are a few interesting weather setups that I will be monitoring this week, starting with Thursday. I plan to be on the road to chase as much as possible I’ll walk you through them below:
-Thursday: a short wave trough will eject over Oklahoma area, bringing possibility of severe weather and tornadoes. I like chasing these setups, they may bust but it’s a great opportunity for something magical. I’ll be in OKC to livestream it if models hold.
-Friday-Sunday: More loose setups TX and LA. Tons of energy and high dewpoints seeping in from gulf. Does not take a ton to make a severe storm. I plan to follow around and see if we can get something.
-Monday/Tuesday (next week). A large trough ejects across the southern United States, bringing all hazards. I’m not convinced the geometry is the best on newest runs, but could be a large event nonetheless. I’ll plan to be present to cover it as well!
Hope you all have a great day!

Hi folks!
Thanks for tuning into the live stream last night! Sorry we couldn’t get a supercell, but that’s live theater :)
Attached is a photo of the sunset from last night, as well as storm pics from this morning. As you can see, the lakes by the botanical gardens are flooding over, so please stay clear of the area!
I’ll be back in a week after some much-needed family time. Can’t wait to chase some more storms when I get back. Thank you so much for everything!
Sean
PS: Loved the Chili talk last night. Here’s a link to the green chili I make for my family every week (we do chicken, but the pork one is my favorite)

Hi folks!
Thanks for all of you who tuned in last night during my quick stream. I wanted to let you know that I’ve moved today’s live stream to tomorrow. It seems that today is more of a “transition” day (if that changes I’ll jump on!). Tomorrow looks line a big day across all of Arizona.
Hope to see you then!

Excessive rainfall risk— Arizona!
I’ll be heading to Flagstaff tonight to track the beginning of multiple days of high rainfall across the region. Rain will intensify in the Phoenix Valley as the day rolls on. I would expect to be live streaming late tomorrow morning, but I may pop on tonight to test my new setup while driving to flag :)
Cheers,
Sean

EF5 Tornado Outbreak Full Chase!
Hi folks, here is my full chase video of the North Dakota outbreak that spawned the Enderlin EF5. I kept it longford because I want to share the full intensity of the day. This was truly a monumental outbreak.
If you could like and share out, that would be awesome! If you want to support future chases, you can now give a Super Thanks below the video (or donate to PayPal). Enjoy!

Good morning!
In case you didn’t hear, the EF5 drought has been broken! The June 20th Enderlin North Dakota tornado was just upgraded after extensive research into its damage path. As it happens, I am almost done editing my footage from that day. While I don’t have a great shot of it (night wedge) I have the storm structure and my reaction. I saw it and knew it was a dangerous situation. It is the only tornado I have actively abandoned and I stand by that decision.
The video will cover my chase of the Jamestown, ND tornado and the Valley City Tornado (a rain wrapped wedge that I got veeeeery close to). Rather than cut it down, I’m going to upload the full chase. The buildup and storm structure are insane. And given the historical significance I want to make sure it’s fully documented. Should be up by tomorrow!
As you can see, I am editing away while my patient pets wait for me to give them attention. Pardon the laundry, but whenever I try to move it the pets get upset:)
Looking ahead: there’s still a chance that a low pressure system spawned off of Hurricane Priscilla impacts AZ. If it happens on Friday and Saturday, I will be there to live stream. I am booked the rest of the week for much needed family time.
Cheers!

Hi folks!
Hope you are having a fantastic week. First off, thank you again! Because of your amazing support, I’ve been able to do a very helpful upgrade to my chase car…adding a second battery! Why? The Prius has a 12v system that gets replenished the hybrid battery. But an auxiliary battery can be the main source of power for all my radar, live streaming, camera tools. That way, I can run them without fear of impacting my starter battery. More chases!
Next up is going to be an absolute TON of cameras (powered by the battery). They will be used for both the live stream and my long form chase videos. I’m also going to be upgrading starlink from a mini to a large dish to get better reception.
⚡️If you would like to support those upgrades, would you consider a contribution through YouTube or my PayPal? Contributions are NEVER a requirement, but always greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!⚡️

Next up: currently editing some 2025 long form chase videos and my car walkthrough. I am also planning on doing a livestream q&a/car walkthrough in the coming weeks. I’ll let you know when that is scheduled! Seems like the skies are quiet for a bit, so a good time to spend with family and plan out the winter.
Let me leave you with a stunning rainbow I captured in Fountain Hills over the weekend. The Monsoon was very good to us! Hope to share more storms soon!
Cheers,
Sean
