We’re hiring a Sewing Specialist / Seamstress / Sewist to join our in-house creative team at Mood Fabrics in Lodi, New Jersey!
If you’re passionate about garment construction, advanced sewing techniques, and creating tutorials that empower a global sewing community, this full-time role is for you.
We’re looking for someone who:
• Has 3–5 years of professional sewing experience, especially in women’s fashion silhouettes
• Can expertly analyze, modify, and troubleshoot sewing patterns
• Is confident documenting their process through step-by-step sewing tutorials
• Is fluent in fit adjustments, garment construction, and finishing techniques
• Has a strong eye for detail and a portfolio of polished sewing work
• Communicates clearly and collaborates across patternmaking and marketing teams
• Is experienced working with a variety of fashion fabrics, from muslin to brocade
✨ Bonus if you:
• Create content for blogs or social media
• Have experience teaching or demonstrating sewing techniques
• Are familiar with CAD/digital pattern drafting software
• Love staying current with trends in fashion design and garment sewing
📍 Location: Full-time, in-person at our Lodi, NJ studio
