Few days back I had provided the references for JKPSC paper held on 28th June. JKPSC paper was far more analytical than the factual paper that HCS came up with.

The Indian Express - 25th June 2026 - "Pause and revisit’: Cabinet Secretary’s note..."
1. "...if they just follow “a beaten track”, the question they may face at the end of their service is: did they get “30 years’ experience or one year’s experience repeated 30 times”".
2. "...need to improve each year, to get the “small things” right, and to “pause and revisit” matters which may seem “routine”".
3. "....also asked the Secretaries to circulate the guide on holding effective meetings, drawn up by the National Centre for Good Governance (NCGG), to all civil servants".
4. "... The 10-page guide on holding meetings starts with the basics, including being clear about why a meeting is being called, who is to be called and the timing. It advises that if the purpose can be achieved through email, phone or text messages, then a meeting should be avoided".

Your feedback related to presentation has been taken into account to add value to your preparation in form of not only DIRECT QUESTIONS in the exam hall but also reading experience.
As informed previously, 2026 Mains Current Affairs and 2027 Year Long Prelims & Mains Current Affairs Modules are ongoing.
While Prelims Notes will be fact rich and focus on dots, Mains notes are filtered and re-arranged as per Mains requirement i.e. Introduction, Body (Issues, Govt Steps, Significance, Way Forward etc.) and Conclusion.
