The “Tube Dreamer” is one of the few pieces of gear that goes with me from genre to genre, Testament, AST and all in between with overdrive (if you’ve seen any behind the scenes/rig rundown type things it’s there). It’s also been used in most of the recent quarantine vids (Rush, Queen etc). The pedal I’m signing here is a “Double Dreamer” which includes both the TD I use & the more subtle LucyDreamer (used by the great J Lage) all in one unit, special signed edition. The charity I picked is specifically designated to help our friends in road crews - the most hardworking, dedicated folks imaginable who keep things running and make the shows possible (if it were up to us artists to load in, setup, tech during the show and break down/load out after...it would be a disaster, I assure you). Full disclosure: I made this choice just before the parent company, Live Nation was revealed to have a controversial memo about possible restructuring of their business model and this having a very negative impact on artists (the best reporting I’ve seen on this is in @rollingstone). After a brief reconsideration due to this affiliation, I decided to stick with it because there’s no reason this division (and all deserving recipients) should be punished for a plan from another department that they had nothing to do with (and that might not even happen). That’s it.
