ABOUT JACQUELYN
Jacquelyn began her journey of yoga by simply sampling a Hatha yoga class provided through her local community college, in 1998. She found herself enjoying the sense of peace yoga brought to her life and noticed the flexibility of her body beginning to increase during the course. Once the college class ended Jacquelyn sampled a variety of classes throughout the United States, attending various yoga styles including Ashtanga, Iyengar, Vinyasa, Bikram, Hatha, Acro and Power yoga.
in 2008, encouraged by one of her yoga instructors, Jacquelyn began the journey of teacher training. At first she intended only to take the training as a method of increasing her knowledge for her own practice. She attained a level one and two certifications through YogaFitยฎ. She found herself instructing students several times during the week, wanting to increase her knowledge of yoga instruction not only for herself, but for her students as well.
