We are proud to share that we have been granted a patent for โ€œBifacial Perovskite Solar Cells,โ€ our R&D innovation developed in collaboration with IIT Bombay.

These next-generation solar cells offer several promising advantages:
๐Ÿ‘‰ Dual-Side Light Harvesting โ€“ Captures sunlight from both the front and rear surfaces
๐Ÿ‘‰ Higher Energy Yield โ€“ Enables higher power generation from the same area
๐Ÿ‘‰ Tunable Bandgap โ€“ Ideal for high-efficiency tandem solar cells
๐Ÿ‘‰ Lightweight & Flexible โ€“ Thin-film technology enables versatile applications
๐Ÿ‘‰ Good Low-Light Performance โ€“ Performs well under diffuse and low-light conditions
๐Ÿ‘‰ Potentially Lower Costโ€”Enables low-temperature and scalable manufacturing

Our Chairman, Shri B. Sairam, visited Hurra C OCP and Rajmahal OCP of our subsidiary, Eastern Coalfields Limited.

At the outset, Shri Sairam visited Hurra C OCP, where he planted a sapling and inspected the Coal Handling Plant and mining operations. He then proceeded to Rajmahal OCP, where he took stock of the ongoing operations and the 10.5 MTY-capacity Coal Handling Plant currently under construction.

Later, he chaired a review meeting and emphasised the need to accelerate production and coal supplies.

Rajmahal OCP has registered over 10% growth in production and over 11% growth in OB removal so far this fiscal, compared with the corresponding period of the previous financial year. Production has already crossed 5 MT in FY 2026โ€“27.

Shri Satish Jha, CMD, ECL, along with the senior management of ECL, was also present on the occasion.

A mineral shouldn't cost differently depending on where it's mined โ€” a truly national market needs uniform rules.

The MMDR Amendment Act, 2026 brings greater uniformity in fiscal treatment, creating a more predictable and competitive national mineral market.

One market. Greater competitiveness.

Layered levies across the mineral value chain have long added invisible weight to production costs. The MMDR Amendment Act, 2026 addresses this by rationalising the taxation structure โ€” reducing cascading charges and bringing greater cost predictability for the sector.

Simpler taxation. Stronger value chain.
