A one-day workshop on POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) was organised for our employees at our Corporate Headquarters in Kolkata.
Our Director (HR), Dr. Vinay Ranjan, graced the occasion and highlighted Coal India’s policy of zero tolerance towards any form of harassment at the workplace.
He also emphasised the importance of sensitisation and awareness, and stressed the need to address grievances with a human touch. Senior executives were also present during the workshop.
Shri Anup Hanjura has assumed charge as Director (Technical – Project & Planning) of our subsidiary, Central Coalfields Limited (CCL), at its headquarters in Ranchi.
Prior to this assignment, he was Area General Manager at Pench and Kanhan Area of Western Coalfields Limited. During his tenure with Coal India, he also rendered his services at South Eastern Coalfields Limited.
Shri Hanjura pursued B.Tech in Mining Engineering from Nagpur University and also obtained a First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate from the Directorate General of Mines Safety (DGMS).
