Some friends and I had the chance to participate in Ludum Dare #52, a game jam event where you make a game in 72 hours. We made a game called The Time Traveler's Garden.
It's a game about a guy working in a garden restaurant who grows all the ingredients for their food in the back garden and uses time travel in order to harvest any newly planted seeds. But in the future, the world has become an apocalyptic wasteland, and harvesting vegetables means fighting veggie monsters!
If you've been following me for a while, you might now that in my free time, a friend and I have been working on a small mobile physics puzzle game called Gutsy the Guinea Pig. It's a little project that we've developed on and off over many years, and we're finally able to release the project that we started as far back as 2013, before I even created Smashified, Curiomatic, or anything else here on YouTube!
Those of you who follow me or Curiomatic on twitter have likely already seen this, but I thought I'd share here anyways. Chris and I directed this project to celebrate Mother 3's 15th anniversary. I got to do some modeling as well, specifically for Duster's character model and the environment. We've been blown away by the overwhelmingly positive response to the video, and I couldn't be happier that we've been able to bring Mother fans some joy with this project.
New video just dropped on Curiomatic! This one’s another installment in the Snowboard Kids 3 project that I’ve been working on with some friends. If you like the kinda stuff I make, you should check it out!
Hey friends! Chances are, if you're subscribed to this channel, you're already subscribed to Curiomatic, but in the off chance that you aren't, I just wanted to share this project we're working on! It's a collaboration with the very talented SmaiART (who you should also follow on Twitter if you like Splatoon and other good things). We've been working on this for months, and it feels great to be able to finally show it off! I'd be over the moon if you gave it a watch. =D
Those of you who have been following me closely may know I've been developing a mobile game with a friend of mine under the banner, Drizzle Games. We're finally able to formally reveal what the game is with our first trailer, and I'd love if people would check it out.
So I'm sure some people out there are expecting me to make a leakbuster video on the recent Smash Ultimate character leak. You can get my full thoughts on twitter, but unfortunately I don't have time to make a timely video on the subject. I will say this though: I'm of the mind that this leak might actually be real. I'm not 100% convinced, but I never would be about any leak until it's confirmed by Nintendo anyways. So I'm on team #MightBeReal. Only time will tell. Again, if you want my full thoughts, go ahead and check my recent tweets. =P

If you have any interest in supporting my work, check out the trailer: https://youtu.be/OaauOZh7vBs
You can also pre-order the game. It's a free game, so it's basically just signing up to be notified when the game is available.

I'm curious, what did you all think of the art style used for the Link's Awakening remake?
