Gen‑Z energy embodied, Kaveri Kapur is an Indian singer-songwriter, poet, and freshly minted actress who’s flipping the script on legacy‑fueled fame—and doing it with flair.

Born into a family steeped in creative firepower—filmmaker Shekhar Kapur and singer-actress Suchitra Krishnamoorthi—Kaveri wasn’t interested in riding coattails. At just 11, she dropped her first track, “Did You Know,” which zoomed into India’s top 10 charts.

She’s not just a singer, she’s a songwriter—and a poet. With multiple tracks and music videos to her name before even stepping on set, Kaveri’s inner world has been out in the open for a while—raw, real, and refreshing.

Her acting debut, Bobby Aur Rishi Ki Love Story, dropped on Disney+ Hotstar on February 11, 2025. She played Bobby opposite Vardhan Puri under Kunal Kohli’s direction.
