BIOGRAPHIES OF STS. TIMOTHY AND TITUS
St. Timothy was converted by St. Paul in the year A.D. 47 and became his fellow apostle. He was born in a place called Lystira and a son of a Greek father and a Jewish mother. He worked closely with St. Paul for about 15 years and became his trusted friend. He was with St. Paul when the Church at Corinth was founded. He was nominated by St. Paul as his representative in the Church of Ephesus. He was beaten to death by pagans, when he tried to stop a procession of idols taken out by pagans.
St. Titus was a close friend of St. Paul and was a Greek from Antioch. St. Paul said that the mere presence of Titus was a moral encouragement to him. He was given the power to organize and manage the Christian community at Crete. Titus was a trouble shooter in the Church in as much as he was very able in successfully smoothening troubles in the Church at Corinth, with the help of the letter from St. Paul. Legend says that St. Paul refused to circumcise Titus. St. Paul also ordained Titus as Bishop of Gortyn in Crete. He died in the year A.D. 107 at the age of about 95 years.

THE FEAST OF HOLY INNOCENTS
According to the Gospel of Mathew (2:16\-18), King Herod ordered to kill all male children under age two years, in and around Bethlehem, to escape from losing his crown from the newly born King of Jews, as told by the Magi, who were searching for the location of the birth place of Jesus to worship Him. These infants killed were the first Christian Martyrs, died for Jesus. One Macrobius, who in his book "Saturnalia" has given an indirect reference to the massacre of these innocents. It is stated in that book that a son of King Herod was also ordered to be killed by Herod, among the innocent children killed by Herod. But however the number of children killed during that massacre was about thirty children, as per the Catholic Encyclopedia (1910).

THE SOLEMNITY OF THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION
The doctrine of the Immaculate Conception is the doctrine that the Virgin Mary was conceived without original sin, that twist in our nature that makes our will tend not to follow what it knows to be right. It was this grace that enabled Mary to give a true and considered “Yes” to the request, conveyed by the Angel Gabriel, that she should consent to be the mother of the incarnate God. Because it is so old, it is one of the Marian doctrines that Islam shares with the Catholic Church, though of course the theological details are very different.

HISTORY OF THE SOLEMNITY OF CHRIST THE KING
The Feast of Christ the King was established by Pope Pius XI in his 1925 encyclical 'Quas Primas'. In this document, the Pope explained that although Christians already honor Christ in other feasts, this new feast is meant to specifically recognize His Royal Title and Dignity. Christ is viewed as a spiritual ruler, reigning over heaven and the hearts of all people on earth. Initially, the feast was called "Our Lord Jesus Christ the King" (in Latin: D.N. Jesu Christ Regis). However, Pope Paul VI later changed the name to "Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe" (in Latin: D.N. Iesu Christi Universorum Regis). He also moved the celebration to the last Sunday of the liturgical year, which is the Sunday between November 20th and November 26th. This is the final Sunday before Advent, the season of waiting and preparing for Christmas. Many Christian denominations, including Catholics, Anglicans, Lutherans, and other Protestants, also celebrate this feast.
