YTP/Video Tennis is a medium of communal, independent video art involving usually 2 or more "players" where a video is edited back and forth, accumulating edits, effects, and sources as it progresses. It is a medium with a long and storied history, 18 years and counting, and this account exists to help tell that story as fully as we can.
The TennisFacksJr account is an older, sister account to this one; where this channel focuses on compiling together complete matches, the former account focuses on restoring rounds that have become lost either from deletions or takedowns for individual viewing and study.

apologies if you've noticed a myriad of errors in our recent uploads.
one of us running this account have built a "machine" to help automate the compilation of matches (now consistently in use since the "soundphaseytp vs. portaldash vs. mahify" match) and this has led to repeated troubleshootings as we figure out how to fix the incorrect presentation of titles, including preserving years worth of wild symbol usage (as became common after a point) as well as other strange errors such as Tennis Rounds Turning Green when rendered. some of our uploads might be silly for a bit. but eventually they should be awesome from a certain point onward. thanks for being patient and understanding.
