Suddenly Solo: I'm learning to love life again and find joy in the journey after the sudden loss of my husband, camping & adventure buddy.
With over 40 years of camping experience, I'm keeping his memory alive by continuing our outdoor adventures; while enjoying camping, birdwatching, along with all the beauty and healing powers of nature. I'm sharing it all here as I figure out how to navigate life on my own, solo.
Life is short - I hope to inspire you to get out there, do the things — before it’s too late. ♡

My love for nature and spending time outdoors has been my saving grace, along with friends, family and YOU! I'm behind on uploading videos because I've been lost in the woods, wandering wild, finding this new version of my solo self. I did a thing..my first, solo adventure, learning to tow my small camp trailer happened and I couldn't be more proud of myself! 10 days of adventuring and some of the best sleep since my hubby left this earth. He was close by the entire time. It wasn't without tears, sweat and trials but if I'm going to be sad, I may as well be sad with a view.
