Idk if it's just me but getting thousands of views and likes on a YT shorts you made feels severely less rewarding

If you got like thousands of views and likes on a REGULAR video, that's another level of accomplishment, especially in 2025

Because nowadays there's people mindlessly scrolling through shorts, liking every single one of them like they're infinity stones, and because of that YT shorts are an easy way to get clout within a few days, doesn't matter if the short is trendy or not

Before YT shorts are even a thing, you gotta work your ass over trying to figure out what makes a video popular and put more effort into that, hoping you can reach at least 1k views. Now you can literally just post nothing in the video and it will still get views (I know for a fact it's not a me problem where I rarely post regular videos, I saw other regular videos that have WAY less views than shorts, I'm not going crazy gng)

I'll still continue to post on shorts, I don't mind posting them, it's just that the way I can easily get clouts through that feels super unrewarding and dull. I feel a lot more happier when I see my regular form videos get a decent amount of views than my shorts
