ECZEMA (DERMATITIS) 🌿
Eczema is a chronic inflammatory skin condition causing
👉 Itching, redness, dryness, scaling & oozing

TYPES OF ECZEMA ⬇️
1️⃣ Atopic Dermatitis
• Most common
• Seen in children
• Dry, itchy skin + history of allergy/asthma
2️⃣ Contact Dermatitis
• Due to contact with irritants or allergens
• Examples: soap, detergent, nickel, cosmetics
• Limited to exposed areas
3️⃣ Seborrheic Dermatitis
• Affects oily areas
• Scalp, face, eyebrows, chest
• Dandruff is a mild form
4️⃣ Dyshidrotic Eczema
• Small itchy blisters
• Palms, fingers, soles
• Triggered by stress & sweating
5️⃣ Nummular Eczema
• Coin-shaped lesions
• Very itchy
• Common in adults
6️⃣ Stasis Dermatitis
• Seen in elderly
• Due to poor blood circulation
• Legs & ankles
7️⃣ Neurodermatitis (Lichen Simplex Chronicus)
• Thickened skin due to chronic scratching
• Localized patches
