Hi, my name is Ben van Kerkwyk, welcome to UnchartedX. I'm a long-time student and fan of history. I've spent a lot of time throughout my life travelling to, photographing and filming ancient sites all around the world, and (more recently) interviewing and talking to many of the leading researchers and authors, many of whom are working to uncover the true origins of the mystery that is our past.

I believe there is a need for high quality content that addresses the new science and new discoveries that should affect how we view the past, and to examine the contradictions that are clearly evident on ancient sites, and in our orthodox version of history.

Join Yousef Awyan and myself in Egypt this December on the annual Primordial Egypt tour! The full itinerary and all details are available here: unchartedx.com/primordial

The tour runs December 3-16, 2025, and will be a good time, with private permissions into the Great Pyramid (all chambers), as well as Abu Sir and Abu Ghorub. We'll also visit the newly (soft) opened Grand Egyptian Museum.

My 'main' Egypt tour (the UnchartedX tour) is going to be in March 2026, and is currently open to registrations from UnchartedX patrons and supporters only - it will be public soon!

For those wondering, what's the difference? The Primordial tour is Yousef's tour, that I host with him. My tour is, well, my tour, it's my itinerary, and on it I'm joined by co-hosts Kyle and Russ Allen. It's a little longer, has more special permissions and sites, and is consequently a little more $ than the Primordial tour -that's the difference between them! On the UX tour we do more special permissions than anyone else - the last couple of years we've done 10!
