Back to doing what I love most! In case you hadn’t noticed, I have done some experimenting on videos over the past few months 😂I’ve always enjoyed Bushcraft and Survival, but it’s also nice to try other things and as a ‘content creator’ (hate that term) I don’t like to make the videos too repetitive on the same subject. Alas, this can have both good and bad repercussions. Good, in the sense that sometimes new topics appeal to a new audience and help to grow the TA community, but also bad in that viewers that know and love the original content don’t enjoy the new stuff. It’s a fine balance, and I’m a firm believer in every day is a school day and I’m always looking to learn new skills and experiences. Anyway, just wanted to say that I’m currently working on a cool bushcraft project, and going a bit more back to my roots! Also trying out this new YouTube ‘communities’ feature, where I think I am able to engage with you all more? Apparently you guys can make posts too in this section and I can see them? No idea to be honest 😂YouTube is constantly making updates lately I struggle to keep up! Either way, hope you are all doing well and I will see you next week for a new video! #bushcraft

Here's a slightly different technique you can use for sawing smaller diameter pieces of wood. Not something I do all the time, but I have used in the past when I need smaller wood for craft projects etc.

Next batch of TA Axes will drop this Tuesday October 1st at 12:00pm U.K. time. I have now opened up the shipping to a lot more countries, please check the list (swipe right) to see if your country is on the list (already ship to USA & U.K.). Let me know if your country isn’t on the list and I will do my best to open up shipping to your country by Tuesday if I can. This is the last batch of the 100 year old handles, after that we will still be making TA axes here in England using Ash for the handles, but it won’t be 100 year old Ash.
