Hey! We are Nick and Zoe Baker of Chestnut Hills Farmstead. We are a family of 5 located in Clanton, Alabama. We have 40 acres that we are always working to build to what we see fit for our family. Follow along with us as we share our faith, family and farm.

Good morning! As we are entering the football season here in central Alabama, we are looking to our one big fundraiser for the year. The last couple years have been to help the local assisted living/nursing homes.
This year, we’ve changed the football program we are with. This year we are focusing on helping the children directly involved in our brand new football program.
We are raising money to purchase all the new helmets and shoulder pads needed for all of the kids who will be able to participate in the program.
No donation is too small, every $5 helps! Every 100$ will help purchase a set of safety equipment for a child.
We’ve asked each child to raise $100 but we can do better than that.
If you’re interested in helping, you can donate through the ways in the picture. If you choose to send it to our program’s account, just make a note with ‘Rhett Bakers fill a helmet fundraiser’ or you can send it to me directly and I’ll write one big check from The Chestnuts.

You can mail a check to Clanton City Football, PO BOX 2780, Clanton, AL 35046
Or cash

You make a difference in the lives of these kids!
Love yall ❤️

I’ve struggled so much since we posted our very sensitive video about some issues we’ve gone through with our daughter. We try to use every situation to help reach others and to show how God worked in our lives. Yes, it was very personal. But it’s our story to tell.
Social media has a way to be a wonderful but also absolutely terrible thing all at once. Apparently the video has reached over 40 THOUSAND people. The way people have just down right degraded me and the nasty things that’s been said in comments, had me really contemplating taking down the video.
I say all that to say: God is good. Our daughter wanted to share her story in hopes that other families who may have or are going through the same thing can see that it can be overcome. She will share her story in her own words once she’s an adult.
My question to you: why do parents only share the good things? But, if we dare share a struggle, then we should be ashamed of our selves for putting such personal business out.
Why is it so bad to share the bad?
