5 Things I Learned From Undergoing Surgery.

1. You'll never really be ready.
No matter how much you prep mentally or physically, there's always a moment when you feel unsure.

This surgery was long overdue and I kept pushing it, telling myself I was busy or the timing wasn't right

Truth is I just wasn't ready.

But life does not wait for readiness, you just have to pull the trigger and do it.

2. The World Believes What You Show

You can be in pain, but still appear confident.
You can be hurting, but still smile at the world.
You might be falling apart, and still look perfectly fine.

The truth is the world will believe whatever version of you you choose to show.

And that's why we should be kinder to everyone. Because every single person you meet is carrying something they haven't said out loud.

3. if the pain isn't physical, It's probably created by you
The anxiety, the overthinking, the what-ifs. That wasn't part of the surgery.
That was me.

The cut didn't hurt as much as my mind did.
We don't suffer the world.
We suffer our own thoughts.
If the pain isn't physical, chances are you created it.

A fight with family, your career, your future...
Most of the time, these situations are just things we play in our heads again and again and slowly, they turn into a storm we end up living inside.
Accepting this is tough.
But maybe, it's the first step to feeling lighter.

4. Being Nice Isn't in Their Job Description, But They Still Are

Doctors don't have to be kind.
It's not written in their contracts.
They can do their job without cracking a joke or making you feel at ease.
But I noticed they did it anyway.
And it made all the difference.

I walked in nervous.
They made me laugh.
I was scared.
They made it feel normal.

Gratitude doesn't even begin to cover it.
If you're a doctor reading this, thank you for choosing to care.

5. Nobody Really Cares (And That's a
Good Thing)

Before the surgery, I had to shave off most of my hair. I thought it looked strange. I was hesitant to step out but I did. Went to a café. Waited for the stares.

Nobody even looked twice.

After the surgery, I thought people would be extra nice to me. And they were (for a bit).
But it fades fast. And life resumed. Conversations went back to normal

People care less than we think. Not about how you look, how you feel or anything else.
And that's why you can go do the thing you think is stupid. You can do the thing that you think is embarrassing. Start the project, Wear that outfit, Say what you feel. Because the truth is nobody's watching.

And that's your freedom.

After so many requests, maine ye dekha ki aap mein se kai log Ukulele bhi seekhna chahte hain! An amazing instrument that actually also is so much fun to play!

For my latest 10 Day Ukulele Course, I have broken down the journey of learning music and this instrument and made it very simple!

Basically aapko koi bhi instrument including Ukulele seekhne ke lie sirf 3 cheezein chahye hoti hain

1. Strumming Patterns
2. Chords
3. Songs

The course is designed exactly in this same way, The first section is for learning Rhythm and the fundamentals then you learn some chords along the way and you use both of them to play 10 Popular songs!

Jab bhi aap logon ko mera course ya koi video pasand aata hai ya usse aap logon ko kuch seekhne ko milta hai mujhe bohot khushi hoti hai aur ummeed hai ki iss course se bhi aapko kuch naya seekhne ka mauka milega!

The course is currently on a discounted Pre-Order price and will go live on Saturday!

Agar aap ek guitarist hain ya guitar seekh rahe hain, then chances are you have played this man's songs and compositions! Jinki wajah se Guitarists apni pehchan bana paate hain, and the reason for a lot of us being able to impress people around us by playing his songs! The one and only Ehsaan Noorani!

I was lucky enough to meet Ehsaan Sir recently and had a fun conversation with him about guitars, music and a lot of our favourite guitar intros and songs!

Will be up soon here! Can't wait to share the video with all of you! :)
