hello friends, i've been lowkey takin it easy for a bit, that also meant pausing progress on the italy video essay.
AND YES IM GONNA DO THE THING AGAIN: i'm back to working on the rough draft and I just wanted to let yall know to remind you that it will eventually come out lmao
ANOTHER new video on the second channel! Today I wanted to tell the story of my struggles with my Vietnamese identity throughout my life. The feeling of not belonging to that side of my family. And how this channel slowly made me realize family isn’t just a blood related thing. https://youtu.be/pcZb6H3gDhE?si=fJwtO...
just wanted to say real quick, I’ve been really enjoying reading the comments on the recent second channel vids
I’m just like yall at the end of the day and if there’s something I can help you with at a way earlier age than when I learned it, I’ve done my job with this channel
I’ve done the IMPOSSIBLE. A new second channel video within 8 days of the last upload!
This time I talk about a story of my first heartbreak, how much I struggled with it, and how I overcame it. Another video where I was pretty damn vulnerable so enjoy lol https://youtu.be/IBhYIbmd78A?si=yUMjq...
Today’s a gift for you guys because on top of today’s Reddit video, we got a new video on the second channel finally!
Title is worrying but I’m ok, I just wanted to reflect on the first 6 months of me living in a big city for the first time and the many challenges that have come with it. This is the most vulnerable I’ve ever been with a video but my main goal here is to help anyone who might be struggling with their own confidence and just life itself. Anyways here’s the link:
when a horrible tragedy occurs leaving many of us feeling overwhelming sadness, grief, and a sense of brokenness. it follows with what I love and hate the most: the celebration of one’s life.
this was a footballer who touched the hearts of many with his abilities on the pitch. he touched even more hearts off it with his work for women’s football and all the love and care he provided to his family and friends
but that’s the part I hate about this celebration: “was”, “ed”. it’s soul crushing to read, it’s soul crushing to hear, it feels like you’re seeing the end credits of a movie scroll slowly and it never feels any better with the next tragedy.
however we must remember there’s something that will never be a was. because diogo jota IS and forever will be: part of the legacy of one of Liverpool’s most successful periods, part of this era of football’s legacy, and a part of our hearts and minds to remember until we one day meet our end.
days like this remind us that life is so fragile. so take this moment to call, message, or tell the ones in your life how much they mean to you. because you will never EVER know when it’s too late
