Welcome to the backcountry of New Zealand! I’m Charlie, an 18 year old exploring the mountains here in Aotearoa.
From remote river valleys to rugged alpine ridgelines, I take you deep into the mountains where most humans cannot. I build shelters, camp in storms, cook over open fires, and push myself through long, brutal missions - all while filming every step.
The goal of this channel is to showcase incredible places to people who can’t always get out there. I try to bring the feeling of real backcountry adventure to you, wherever you are.

New video out now in case you haven't seen it! I travelled into a remote valley to spend the night in a historic cabin with my friend. It rained pretty hard overnight but the fire kept us super cozy!
I've got some big changes coming soon, which will mean more uploads and even cooler adventures!

New video out now! This was another cold one! I had planned to camp on top of a mountain, but an unforecasted snowstorm forced me into a freezing cold hut for the night. The hut had no fireplace, so I had to do everything possible to survive the -11 degree night!

New video today! Going live at 5:30pm NZ time. This was a seriously big adventure - 57km with over 3800m of climbing in just two days. I was rewarded with some pretty awesome views, one of the best tent spots ever, and some of the nicest food anybody has enjoyed out in the bush!

Hey everyone! I'm packing my bags today for another weekend adventure. I'm going well off track this time, searching for waterfalls, plane crashes, and a cosy bivouac. I'm curious about what content you all want to see! There will definitely be a mixture as I enjoy both just as much, but I'd love to get a feel for what you all want :)
