We've neglected this space a bit over the past few months.

I think it's because of the friction from scattered remotes, messy game controllers, and an overall lack of structure. While browsing online, I found some images that inspired me to be more intentional with the space. I organized the cables, added a flowerpot lamp on the side, and made the most important update: a full-length desk shelf to raise the TV and store key items neatly. I went with a matte black shelf and matching tray, where I now tuck away the Apple TV remote and my YU 4 speaker remote. Under the desk, I placed a few books lent by my uncle and cousin. Essentially, a few reminders of two other things that bring us joy: coffee and cycling.

Now, the space feels more organized and a bit more elegant. Also, it was fun to shoot the detail shots of the shelf.

Okay, so these were shots earlier this year, but I have to say that these shots really represented a cozy welcome for the year. So I’m repurposing them to welcome a brand new month, and a brand new week. A few key things were added to my space, like this floor lamp I got online (it’s literally from a store I can’t remember, but it looks super good), a Zara table lamp, my trusty old Switch (I picked up a Demon Slayer game and been playing it whenever I can), and currently the guitar I recently picked up from my friend, the Danelectro NOS+.

Been busy doing some recordings here, and can’t wait to finish the full-length album.

20 years later, I must say that having an iPod today… is metal 🤘

I made a full-length video which will be up on the channel tonight. If you want to know how it feels like to own a twenty-year old iPod that’s still kicking today, do drop by the YT channel. But to say that it’s an amazing experience is an understatement.

This is the iPod Mini (Generation 2), a 6GB model that is the predecessor to the Nano. It allows you to listen to high-fidelity lossless audio, and you can definitely do everything with it offline. No notifs, no ads, no algorithm. Just pure music enjoyment. I’m genuinely happy with it.

Would you still want to own an iPod today? ✨

It's almost the weekend! Here are some of my favorite outtakes from the studio. I just finished tracking layers upon layers of guitar tracks, and I assure you it didn't look as immaculate. Today, I'll be working mostly outside, but I always yearn to come home to this space. It's undeniably real that your workspace is where your creativity is limitless, and where inspiration is abundant, and within arms’ reach.
