Mikael's Norwegian Lessons
My birthday is Nov 8, and that's when I uploaded my first video on this channel last year. This means, the channel is closing in on being 1 year old! Hehe. Maybe I can try to have some type of celebration video =)

I have ordered smart glasses, and I'm going to a "review / showcase" type of CI video on them. I have also created test apps for myself so that I can thoroughly test them. Mostly these apps are for Japanese learning, but an idea I have is to write stories for Youtube, you know... more "Story-telling" type of scripts, and I was curious to try this and have a transcript on the glasses.
I think they arrive on Friday if I'm lucky. Then I'll test them for a bit, and make a video! It's a 14-day return if I'm not happy so we'll see how it goes =)

Do you want only Norwegian videos, or would English videos explaining pronunciation, culture, ++ etc?
I asked this a few months ago, and so far I've kept it strictly Norwegian. I think keeping it pure Norwegian makes sense, but I don't want to exclude potentially helpful types of videos if something is desperately wanted. Please let me know your thoughts =)

How are you? How's your Norwegian learning going?
I signed up for the JLPT (Japanese) N3 exam last week, so now there's no backing down for me in December, hehe. I'm quite far away from at the level I should be but it'll be a nice challenge regardless.
I've also been thinking about my Youtube channel lately, and I think I've decided on shifting it back to a heavier focus on non-gaming videos. I think one-off gaming videos can happen occasionally, but it seems like videos about a variety of other topics are more engaging and more helpful. The video coming this Monday is a very slow, relaxed and rather simple one, and to be honest I feel like i did a great job on it. The camera angle was a bit awkward, but I recorded in my living room so the lighting feels a lot better. I'm curious to see if you'll like it. =)

There'll be more Big Walk next week! I've recorded just over an hour or so. I'm thinking I'll split it into two, maybe three videos through so it won't be too scary to tackle. The sound sounds better as well so hopefully it'll be fun =)

"Big Walk" just released on Steam, and I think it'd be fantastic to learn Norwegian. What do you think? Should I get it and make a video with my brother?

I think you'll like this Thursday's video a lot. However, I'm trying something new by having built-in subtitles. Please let me know what you think. =)

The last episode of the moomintroll game drops tomorrow! I hope it's been a fun watch for those interested in gaming videos. I am planning on circling back to making some more direct talking videos real soon. =)

I'm a bit burnt out lately so I need to slow down on the amount of videos I make. I'm going to work towards having the schedule of one non-gaming video a week, and one gaming. Probably Monday + Thursday.
Making videos haven't been the main thing making me burnt out, it's more a combination of many things, including studying Japanese hard, having a ton of responsibility in my main job, and the application process having started for studying in Japan. The latter is especially stressful because it requires a lot of paperwork, documentation and stuff.
The coming week a new Moomin video drops on Thursday, but I'm skipping a week of 'non-gaming' video as I've been sitting here trying to muster the energy to make something and instead of pushing it, I'll cut myself some slack. If all goes as planned, I'll be back on schedule after next week =)

What type of videos do you want to see?
Any ideas are welcome. I have a few ideas myself of course, but it's always nice to see if there's something you as a viewer would love to see that I haven't done yet. =)
