Hey y’all! Sorry for the lack of video uploads recently. But good news is that I filmed elevators yesterday in the Baldwin Park area of Orlando. These videos will be coming out started daily starting July 1st. I would like to release them earlier but YouTube needs a long time to fully process my videos. I will hopefully have Winter Park videos coming out after that!

If you guys have noticed that my latest videos look washed out, it’s because YouTube is having HDR processing issues AGAIN. I’ve contacted creator support 3 times in the past week and they were useless as always. Unfortunately there’s nothing I can do about it unless YouTube fixes something on their end. ‪@youtubecreators‬ ‪@YouTube‬ fix this please

My opinion on the KONE & TKE Merger: Please be respectful in the comments.

Even as a KONE lover and nerd myself, I still haven’t gotten to the conclusion if this is a good idea or not. I mean we’ve seen what happens when one company acquires another company. MOST of the time (not all) the product or service gets worse, expensive and or both. The Disney and Hulu acquisition for example… both services are now more expensive and will eventually be just one more expensive streaming lab with less creativity. The KONE and TKE could either be good or very bad. The only reason why I’m not too mad about it is because TKE has been owned by two private equity companies (Advent and Cinven) since 2020 and private equity companies NEVER do anything good. Always leads to less quality and more expensive products. We’ll see what happens in the future. Both KONE and TKE will continue to operate as separate companies until at least Q2 of 2027.

Has anyone else been having issues with YouTube not processing HDR video uploads? There has been issues with it for months and now it seems to be completely broken. I am going to have to delay this weeks uploads until Friday and just hope it eventually works, if nothing works, I’m going to have to completely drop HDR content. YouTube customer service is as useless as you think. It’s like they don’t know what HDR is.
