🔥 Success Rule: 10,000 Hours 🔥
Popularized by Malcolm Gladwell in his book “Outliers", suggests that roughly 10,000 hours of focused practice is needed to achieve mastery in a field. Keep in mind that this is a general guideline, and some people may reach proficiency faster or slower.
Great Things Take Time: Great things in life require patience and persistence with genuine and diligent efforts.
Consider the effort it takes for a newborn to start speaking or a toddler to take those first independent steps. These milestones don’t happen overnight.
It typically takes about an year for a newborns to start speaking.
It typically takes 9 to 12 months for babies to take their first independent step, and starts running around the age of 2 to 3 years.
Or take any real life example of any successful person, to calculate the behind the scene efforts.
The Irony of Impatience:
As adults, we often lose sight of this principle. We crave instant results and may give up prematurely.
But true mastery demands dedication, resilience, and a long-term perspective. It’s about the journey, not just the destination.
I will leave it here for a food for thought and introspection!
To fulfill your life ambitions and dreams, how much efforts would you put, and for how many years to master your craft?
So, embrace the journey, stay committed, and let your passion fuel those 10,000 hours! 🚀

Always Remind and Ask Yourself About What You Are Doing With Your Valuable Time?
Biggest Time-Wasters of All Times as Listed Here:
Illusion of Urgency or Lack of Priority: Without clear priorities, even the trivial tasks are critical. Therefore always distinguish the vital few from the trivial many and set priorities.
Seeking Perfection: Striving for perfection can be an impediment to progress. Recognize when ‘good enough’ aligns with excellence and is good to start with. As reaching perfection is a journey…
Waiting for Inspiration and Motivation: Passion for an endeavor doesn’t always equate to enjoying the grind. True progress lies in consistent action and discipline, beyond momentary sparks of inspiration/motivation.
Energy Vampire - Complaining: It drains energy and offers no solutions. Rather channel energy into proactive steps towards change and solution.
Concern for Opinion: Worrying about others’ perceptions is a fruitless endeavor. Rather, forge your path with confidence.
Justification Trap: Feeling the need to constantly explaining oneself is exhausting. Stand firm in your choices and actions.
Not Living Life and Avoiding Your Passion: Living in someone else’s shadow is to lose precious moments of your own life. Step into the light and embrace your passion.
Not Delegating: Attempting to do it all alone is a recipe for burnout. Master the art of delegation.
Fear of Failure: Remember, failure is not a setback but a setup for learning and future triumphs. Failing also needs courage!
Comparison Game: Each of us is on a unique journey. Celebrate your individuality and your personal path to success.
Pleasing Dilemma: Trying to satisfy everyone is an impossible task. Prioritize authenticity over approval.
