Yup, I’m taking a break from streaming/YouTube and I’m not sure when (if ever) I will be back to making Youtube videos. At times it got extremely lonely and depressing, sitting inside streaming a game without any real human interaction other than my roommate and occasionally meeting some friends. If you tuned in to some of the latest streams you know that I was very unhappy with how riot games handled their game and how they actively avoided any fix to its many issues (on top of also killing the Garen we all fell in love with).
Winning wasn’t fun, losing was frustrating and the gameplay itself was only fun when you got left alone without enemy jgl/support constantly ganking. Even when warding and respecting, enemies could easily stay toplane for 1-2 min straight forcing you to lose toplane while your entire team was losing 4vs3 or even 4vs2 making the whole game insufferable. If you then tell yourself that the next game will be better, you are forced to wait 30 min for the next game to start only to be proven wrong when the same exact thing happens the next game. This could easily happen 8 out of 10 games in a day and after entering the same cycle for months, you find it really hard to keep up the appearance and even if I woke up excited and happy, it quickly faded after just one game.
Even if the Twitch chat and comments from YouTube was the absolute best part of this journey, Riot games refusal to fix the game was still too much to pretend it didn’t ruin the entire experience.
I’ve now started studying computer science and met a whole bunch of cool people, living a much happier and healthier life after distancing myself from league. Just this one week away from league has already been one of the best weeks since starting streaming, and I don’t really see myself starting the stream any time soon. It was a fun and exciting 1,5 years, but in the end, Riot games never tried to fix any of the horrible design choices and the game continues to be super toxic (not talking about the players).
TLDR: Started studying computer science and taking a break from content creation (could be permanent).
I'm still not 100% good but I miss you all too much to wait any longer, so I'm live right now, shaking off all the built up rust from the 3 weeks away from league.
Garen changes have finally been revealed and im really excited to talk about them!
Though atm, it still hurts my throat to say more than a few words and eating something other than yoghurt is a massive painfull exeprience... I really thought I would be fully back by now, but sadly not :(
Hopefully I'll be back in a couple of days to cover all the changes and share my excitementwith you!
Yikes, this clown doesn't upload any videos anymore what a dumbass!
On a more real note, I've been really sick the past few days (was out with the boys) and yesterday I took some meds and tried streaming again but it was mostly low energy stuff and not really great youtube material. After waking up even worse today, I'm not sure how long it will take before I'm back on my feet, but I'd rather wait a bit longer for better content than force out some garbage that nobody wants to watch.
Hopefully after some tea and soup, I'll be more alive in a few days, cooking up a banger for you guys!
Sorry for the last week of both streaming and videos!
Because of some major internet problems this last week it's been pretty hard to maintain my normal upload schedule. The lag ranges from 10-15% packet loss to the internet completely dying for hours. This uncertainty of whether I would lag or not, made every game really stressful to play as I needed a good game to edit for youtube. So even the games where I didn't lag, I either just lost lane because I couldn't focus, or we had games like this one, where I played well but we still lost and that slowly made my mental worse and worse 🙁
After days of horrible lag and talking to the internet guys, I was getting promises that the internet would be fixed. So after waking up hopeful for a week straight, thinking that the internet would be fixed, only to turn on the stream and realise that the internet still wasn't working. I got more and more tilted for every passing day as I felt that I needed to get good games for Youtube but everyday was the same, and I could never get any games and instead just got more tilted, and sadly let that show a bit too much on stream… Sorry about that 🙁
TLDR: The Internet has been really bad this last week so the few games I got were either filled with lag or losses like this one which made me really stressed and tilted that I could never get any games for youtube.
As some of you may have seen, the streams have been lagging for the past 2 days and Im trying to find a solution. The packetloss is around 10% and reaches 400 ms making some clicks super delayd and unplayable as well as making the stream very laggy.
Ive contacted the iinternet squad but if the internet somehow cant be fixed where I live currently, I'll temporarly move my setup to my summerhouse where it should be a lot better :D
Ericlash is an event where I will be fighting twitch chat in lots of different battles ranging from league 1v1s to variety battles like chess. To make the challenge ever more exciting, other streamers will join forces with Twitch chat to take erislash down. Throughout the day there will be points awarded to the winner of each segment and whoever has the most point by the end of the day is crowned the winner! More information is written in the FAQ section of the discord server. discord.gg/fUSy55fw
2025 is finally here and with only a week left of the season and only a few wins away from Challenger, I wanna get there before its too late. So with me being back home again, I’ll be live in 20 minutes (2:30 pm CET) and tryhard for some sweet LP!
