WE HAVE A WINNER! Congrats to John Malecki of ‪@John_Malecki‬ and ‪@JohnMaleckiUnscrewed‬ , the champion of the first ever Maker Fights of Maker Madness, the 64 Maker/Fighter tournament where the viewers voted for who would win in a head to head all-out brawl in a clash-of the-titans no-rules cage match in the octagon.

A special congrats goes out to Dusty Mitchell of ‪@dustylumberco‬ who made it all the way to the championship and went face-to-face with John. It was a tough battle but Dusty just didn't have the ability to overcome John's inherent power and surprising stamina. Dusty's plan was to take John to the ground and take full mount with ground and pound leading to submission, but John's ability to sprawl and keep the fight standing proved too much for Dusty. Dusty went down in the 3rd round via TKO. He was pretty bloody and I don't think his face will ever look the same. He was later brought to the hospital, but thankfully he was cleared medically and is already talking about a rematch in the next tournament. We'll see about that!

Thanks to everyone who voted and participated, left comments. It is greatly appreciated. I hope everyone had fun with the fights. I know the maker/fighters enjoyed it as well (some way more than others, and some regretting ever getting in the cage).
