Travelogues featuring adventures in Devon, Cornwall, Europe and beyond!

Hi I'm Shaun and I'm lucky enough to live on the beautiful South Devon coast. Most of my videos will feature local walks or exploring places of interest around the South West of England. And of course when we venture overseas or to different parts of the UK, my camera comes too. These videos are not intended to be tourist guides of any kind. I prefer just to go to places and discover things as I go along. So sometimes I will get things wrong, and in many cases will get lost.. but that's all part of the adventure! Although I have been a radio presenter for over 43 years. I'm still very new at making videos, and still learning. So thanks for your support and patience. And of course, I don't take it too seriously. It's just for fun!

I was just scrolling back through some of the comments on this channel and spotted one which I missed at the time so apologies for not responding. I was asked whether if you subscribe to this channel does that make me more money. The answer is that I love it when people subscribe, and yes it does push the channel forward more in the bizarre world of You Tube algorithms. However.. this channel isn't at present monetised. It's just a fun hobby and a sort of a side project to my main creative side which is radio. (I've worked in radio in various forms for 44 years and that will always be my first love). I'd love to be getting the viewing figures of some of the great You Tubers I watch like Steve Marsh, By The Curb and Planes Trains Everything but I'm nowhere near that so even if I did monetise this channel I'd only be making about £10 per video. I'd rather keep it as a hobby which of course also keeps the videos advert free. If you ever do see any ads on here they have been inserted by You Tube and I'm not making any money out of them. So.. after all that waffle, yes PLEASE subscribe and like and all that, but be assured I make no money at all from these videos. All the camera equipment and travel costs etc are 100% out of my own pocket. Thanks SOO much for watching and I hope you'll continue to enjoy our little adventures.

There will be a sneaky mid week video this Wednesday as we follow up our 'Showing Americans Around Doc Martin's Village' video with a trip to neighbouring Boscastle. We find out how it has bounced back since the devastating floods of 2004 and are amazed at our US friends reaction to this little slice of Cornish coastal paradise.
