Hi I'm Shaun and I'm lucky enough to live on the beautiful South Devon coast. Most of my videos will feature local walks or exploring places of interest around the South West of England. And of course when we venture overseas or to different parts of the UK, my camera comes too. These videos are not intended to be tourist guides of any kind. I prefer just to go to places and discover things as I go along. So sometimes I will get things wrong, and in many cases will get lost.. but that's all part of the adventure! Although I have been a radio presenter for over 43 years. I'm still very new at making videos, and still learning. So thanks for your support and patience. And of course, I don't take it too seriously. It's just for fun!

We then head off to the alpine village of Kandersteg, and the video concludes with a trip of Europe's highest steam heritage railway high up in the Swiss Alps.

FIVE iconic Swiss rail journeys in this video. We travel on the BELLE EPOQUE from Montreux to Gstaad, then return on the GOLDEN PASS EXPRESS. Then we take the spectacular mountain railway to ROCHERS DE NAYE with it's stunning views over Lake Geneva and the Alps. We're not finished there... how about a beautiful ride through the hills above Vevey to LES PLEIADES, finishing with a train ride through the vineyards of LAVEAUX near Lausanne. Unbelievable scenery throughout!

We've just spent two weeks touring Switzerland during this incredible heatwave. Over the next couple of weeks there will be a series of videos featuring absolutely stunning scenery, plenty of boats, trains, funiculars, cablecars and mountain views.
